SureFire Introduces Two New 600-Lumen Fury Scout Light LED WeaponLights

Thursday, July 24th, 2014

Fountain Valley, CA — SureFire has expanded its signature Scout Light Series with the new M600P and M620P Fury Scout WeaponLight models. Both models feature SureFire’s newest high-performance LED, which produces 600 lumens and, thanks to a precision reflector, provides a wider beam with increased surround light, as opposed to the more-focused beam created by the TIR lenses found on most SureFire Scout Lights.

M600P-BK-M4

The new Fury Scout Light models’ wider beams are optimal for urban environments or up close engagements, where lighting a wider area is preferable. The M600P and M620P come with two included switches— a pushbutton tailcap switch: press for momentary on, press further to click constant-on; and a momentary-on tape switch with a 7-inch cable that attaches to your preferred location via self-stick Velcro® backing.

M600P-BK

Compact, lightweight, and rugged, the new Fury Scout Light models are nearly identical to their predecessors. The new models’ bezels are only slightly larger in diameter at—1.37 inches—while their weatherproof Mil-Spec-anodized aluminum bodies measure 5.7 inches in length. The new Fury models produce tactical-level light (over 50 lumens) for 1.5 hours on two 123A lithium batteries. The M600P Fury Scout Light uses an integral thumbscrew clamp to attach to any MIL-STD-1913 rail. The M620P Fury Scout uses SureFire’s self-adjusting Swing-Lever™ clamp, which fits MIL-STD-1913 rails and even rails that are out of spec. Available in Black or Desert Tan.

SureFire – ProComp 556 Muzzle Brake

Tuesday, June 17th, 2014

02

SureFire has just released their ProComp 556 muzzle brake. Designed for AR-15s with 1/2-28 muzzle threads, the ProComp reduces both recoil impulse and muzzle rise, with a patented Impulse Diffusion design that minimizes side blast and rear-directed concussion effects. It is machined from US mil-certified steel bar stock with a black Melonite finish that protects from harsh environmental conditions.

procomp_556

As you may have noticed, the ProComp duplicates the design of the SureFire SOCOM SFMB-556-1/2-28 muzzle brake, however it isn’t designed to mount SureFire SOCOM suppressors. Rather, the ProComp is a stand-alone device that functions solely as a muzzle brake. The trade off is a proven, reliable muzzle brake at a reduced cost.

Available at authorized SureFire dealers.

Fountain Valley, CA — After a comprehensive testing and evaluation process involving several competitive tactical lighting products, the SureFire X300® Ultra has been adopted as part of New Jersey State Police’s standard-issue WeaponLight.

X300 Ultra

New Jersey State Police have contracted with Atlantic Tactical to purchase 2,800 SureFire X300® Ultra’s to be issued to all of their sworn officers. The initial purchase of 1,765 units will be delivered within 30 days and the remaining balance to be delivered in the next few months.
