Thursday, September 8th, 2016We’ve recently seen some rough times in this country and unfortunately, members of the Law Enforcement community have given their lives in service. One of our biggest concerns here at SSD is that these men and women (and their K9 partners) have the equipment they need to protect their communities as well as themselves. Recently, Tactical Distributors approached us about doing a Thin Blue Line version of our popular Keep Calm Return Fire T-shirts to raise finds for a Law Enforcement charity. We thought it was a great idea and suggested Spirit of Blue Foundation for the great work they do identifying and fulfilling capability gaps in smaller Law Enforcement Agencies. Since 2011, this 501(c)(3) has awarded 42 grants valued at almost $200,000 in 22 states.
We only had one stipulation; our entire licensing fee had to go to Spirit of Blue. The shirts look great and we are pleased to report that TD kicked in on their end as well. $10.00 from the sale of each shirt will be donated to Spirit of Blue.

They’ve made them very friendly for those who concealed carry. It’s okay that there’s a little bit of MultiCam in the corner of the pocket. And yes, they’ll sell, even if you din’t buy a pair.
Tactical Distributirs started by looking at a lot of fabrics and chose a 13oz super stretch denim fabric that gives the user mobility. Then, they designed the pants around the fabric, offerimg 10 pockets around the jean in key positions for both right and left handed shooters. All of the pockets are set up for either blades, tools, pistol mags or AR-15 30 round mags. Simple design elements like 2” wide belt loops to accommodate most CCW belts or riggers belts. Seam hidden back pockets for AR magazines. 2 ply front hand pocket so you don’t get your ring or watch hung up on your folding knife.

Features:
-Reinforced belt loops accommodate heavy duty belts and carried loads (such as a concealed weapon and mags)
-Embedded sweat band at waist mitigates friction and enhances comfort
-Internal hand pockets have folding knife/tool storage, as well as media ports for the internal routing of comms
-External hand pockets have secure small item compartmentalization
