For more than 40 years TEA has been well known for providing the headsets and communication accessories to our nation’s warriors. In addition to providing headsets TEA also offers a wide variety of tactical and discrete push-to-talk switches that enables users to easily key up and communicate in applications ranging from high altitude jumps to submerged maritime operations.
The ruggedized single radio U94 Push-to-Talk has quickly become a favorite among military and law enforcement personnel because of its adaptability to work with practically any radio or headset. Following its popularity, TEA saw an additional need to expand the U94’s capabilities which now includes single and dual radio LAND versions, special radio+ICS (AIR) versions as well as single and dual radio (H2O) versions.
Tactical U94 Push-to-Talk with H2O Boot
TEA offers a special H2O boot that seals around Peltor Headset connectors making it perfect for RQS Units, Fast Boat Teams and when fording the occasional stream or river. This added feature is available on any U94 PTT. I checked this out at AUSA and It’s pretty slick. Click here for more info.
Tactical U94 Push-to-Talk
Single radio versions of the U94 PTT, includes an option WPC collar that helps prevent hot mic/accidental radio keys. You can also get this version with an optional auxiliary input for secondary remote/sniper or HALO switches. Click here for more info.
Dual U94 Push-to-Talk
Dual-Com versions of the U94 PTT can be configured to control multiple 2-way radios, a single Dual-Net radio like the new PRC 154 or a single 2-way radio with an ICS connector (vehicle, aircraft or watercraft intercom system). Click here for more info.
Submersible U94 Push-to-Talks
Single and Dual Radio submersible versions are also available for the maritime versions of the PRC 148 (10-pin) and PRC 152 (6-pin) as well as other common submersible radios. The single radio version includes an oversized transmit button that makes it easy to use with bulky gloves on. Click here for more info.
Additional options or configurations of the U94 are available through TEA. TEA Push-to-Talk switches can be configured to work with any of their headsets, and practically any radio, ICS or communication device.
