Wednesday, July 18th, 2018

Trigger Time TV welcomes Michael Green from Green Ops back for his 3rd season with us. This season Michael will be demonstrating pistol drills with the Hudson H9, and testing it’s capabilities. Hudson is one of our new sponsors for this season.

Michael, served over 15 years in Special Forces, including three years as an Assaulter in a CINC’s In-extremis Force (CIF), focused on Direct Action & Counter Terrorism missions. He also served as an instructor for the Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat (SFAUC) Course where he taught Advanced Marksmanship and Close Quarters Combat (CQC) training courses. Michael has been teaching tactical firearms since 1992 and holds a Master classification in IDPA and USPSA. He has Instructor ratings from multiple organizations including the NRA, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and the US Army. After leaving the military, Michael spent several years on numerous overseas US Government contracts.

He has trained civilians, Special Operations, military and law enforcement units in the US and throughout the world.

Michael is the founder and owner of Green Ops, a consulting company that has been offering specialized firearms & security training since 2005. Green Ops’ mission is to provide students with the same level of training given to military and law enforcement special operations units. Why should your training be any less special?

If you’ve been stationed at or trained near Fort Bragg, you’ve probably heard of Trigger Time. Established in 1991 by Thomas J Bullins, Trigger Time is a range facility located near Carthage, NC. Although spartan, it is well maintained and has been continually improved over the years. In addition to an in house cadre of instructors, Trigger Time is often host to other guest instructors.

Recently, longtime SSD friend and graphic artist Travis Getz redesigned the Trigger Time logo. I asked Travis about how he looks at these design projects and he related this:

My philosophy with small business web design is to use tools that are super-simple and allow the business owner (or their admin person in this case) to maintain the site themselves (they can edit their own content, I just do the initial design), cutting out the hassle of dealing with an external web design firm.

I like this approach and it sounds like an interesting option for other small business owners.
