U.S. Tactical Supply – SUPCOV Suppressor Covers

SUPCOV Suppressor Covers are now available from U.S. Tactical Supply. Manufactured from a high-temperature silicone composite, SUPCOV covers securely attach directly to the suppressor, and feature internal and external ribs which encourage cooling through convection, greatly increasing the elimination of mirage.
Multiple models of SUPCOV covers exist for suppressors of various sizes and makes. Available in Black or Coyote Brown depending on the model. SUPCOV Suppressor Covers are made in the USA.
As an example, these are the test results of the performance of the M110 SUPCOV as posted by U.S. Tactical Supply:

TEST Parameters:
1 x M110 Sniper Rifle fired 1 round every 2-3 seconds with no suppressor sleeve.
1 x M110 Sniper Rifle fired 1 round every 2-3 seconds with a suppressor sleeve.
Both weapons continued with this rate of fire until barrel mirage was too great to accurately engage targets.
Both weapons engaged the same target at approximately 467 meters.
Results:
M110 with no suppressor sleeve began to have significant barrel mirage at 21 rounds; shooter was unable to engage targets and be able to identify what he was engaging after 25 rounds.
M110 with the suppressor sleeve did not have any significant barrel mirage until 91 rounds; shooter was able to engage targets for another 3 rounds until he was unable to identify targets.

U.S. Tactical Supply Is Present At The 2014 International Sniper Competiton

The 2014 International Sniper Competition, hosted at Fort Benning, Georgia, brings 35 teams (70 snipers) from all over the world to participate in 10 to 15 sniper related events. The focus of the competition is to bring teams together to share battlefield lessons learned, provide training initiatives and ideas and to compete tactically and technically. Unit coaches, commanders, and spectators are also in attendance.
The competition takes place from October 20th through 24th.

U.S. Tactical Supply has released a scabbard for the HOG Saddle and Tripod combo. It will hold a full tripod with HOG Saddle directly attached, or tripod, head, and HOG Saddle. An included self-mounting strap and hook system allows the Scabbard to be attached to most MOLLE/PALS panels, and backpacks with compression/cinch straps.
Available in Coyote Brown, Dry Earth, Military Green, and MultiCam.
