Tactical Tailor’s Jetboil Pouch is pretty self-explanatory: it’s a pouch for your Jetboil, although it’ll also fit a Primus no problem; there’s even a bit of extra room for storing a meal. The pouch comes complete with two Fight Light Mallice Clips, so it can be mounted to the outside of a pack, freeing up precious internal space. Plus, the Jetboil Pouch features a rool down top for a proper seal, and to keep out unwanted dirt and debris.

Tactical Tailor – Tahoma Tote

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016

The Pacific Northwest Pack Series began as a project to fulfill a solicitation for a suite of SOCOM packs. Our designs for this solicitation were brought about with input from actual SOF soldiers who took these packs to the field throughout the design process and brought back their impressions and recommendations for improvements. We took their advice back to our designers who then continually refined the packs until they met the exacting standards of these elite soldiers.

The PNW Tahoma Tote Assault MALICE Pack is an Alpine style pack designed for recon and sniping. It’s built for heavier loads with minimal bulk while wearing a plate carrier or armor. The Tahoma Tote is the lightweight of the PNW packs, weighing in at only 3 pounds before you add the frame and straps, but don’t let its light weight fool you, it can still compete with its bigger brothers when it comes to features. Along with its over 2500 cubic inch capacity, standard features include a reinforced carry handle, RTO zipper pass-through and side compression straps. It also includes side zipper access to the interior of the pack and oversized pockets on either side for large items like rifle buttstocks. Just like all the PNW packs, the Tahoma Tote is STRLLS and H harness compatible for airborne operations. Available in Coyote Brown and MultiCam.

Along with this new line of packs, we’ve also introduced upgrades to our traditional straps and belt in the form of our Low Profile and Low Profile Adjustable Super Straps and Ergo Super Belt. These new designs add even more comfort along with added functionality and adjustability. The Nisqually Pack is also available in a discounted kit form which includes the pack, our Fight Light MALICE Pack Frame, Low Profile Adjustable Super Straps and 34” Ergo Super Belt.

The PNW Tahoma Tote Assault MALICE Pack starts at only $270.00.

Wednesday, June 15th, 2016

Tactical Tailor has added yet another great asset to their team. Dan Stout joins as Tactical Tailor’s new SOCOM/LE Sales Manager, utilizing his extensive experience and knowledge to help the SOCOM and Law Enforcement communities with their nylon gear, armor plate, and rifle needs.

Dan served in the United States Army, most of it with 1st Special Forces Group. On top of being part of 1st Special Forces Group, he also earned his Airborne wings and HALO qualification. He worked his way up to senior medic while participating in OEF-A, OEF-P, as well and being a part of multiple deployments to countries through the PACOM AOR.

Towards the end of his service, Dan started looking forward to see how he could take his past experience and continue to use it to help those still in service. At that same time, Tactical Tailor happened to be looking for someone to help further customer relationships and help establish, and solve, nylon gear needs within the SOCOM and LE communities. Through a mutual contact, paths crossed and Dan joined the Tactical Tailor team.

When asked about his thoughts on joining Tactical Tailor, Dan said he was, “very excited to be a part of the Tactical Tailor team, and am really looking forward to improving both the relationship with the customer as well as improving the overall customer experience.”

Tactical Tailor – Pacific Northwest Nisqually Pack

Thursday, May 19th, 2016

This is a release from Tactical Tailor detailing their PNW Nisqually Pack.

The Nisqually-callouts

The Pacific Northwest Pack Series began as a project to fulfill a solicitation for a suite of SOCOM packs. Our designs for this solicitation were brought about with input from actual SOF soldiers who took these packs to the field throughout the design process and brought back their impressions and recommendations for improvements. We took their advice back to our designers who then continually refined the packs until they met the exacting standards of these elite soldiers.

The PNW Nisqually pack is a patrol pack for heavy loads, ideal for wear with body armor in temperate locations. At 4.5 pounds, it’s the middle-weight member of the the PNW pack family, so it can carry a lot without being a burden. With a capacity of 4100 cubic inches, it can carry just about anything you might need in the field. The Nisqually incorporates many of the same features as the larger packs in the series, like the RTO and hydration pass throughs, side compression straps and reinforced carry handle. The internal attachment for the PRC-117G pouch, side pocket pass throughs and the external access to the main compartment hidden behind the main outside pocket are also present. Finally, like our other packs, the Nisqually is STRLLS and H harness compatible for airborne operations.

The PNW Nisqually Patrol MALICE Pack starts at only $270.00.

Tactical Tailor – Raider Pack

Tuesday, April 12th, 2016

The Pacific Northwest Pack Series began as a project to fulfil a solicitation for a suite of SOCOM packs. Our designs for this solicitation were brought about with input from actual SOF soldiers who took these packs to the field throughout the design process and brought back their impressions and recommendations for improvements. We took their advice back to our designers who then continually refined the packs until they met the exacting standards of these elite soldiers.

The Raider pack was designed as an alpine style pack for long range while carrying lighter loads. The Raider stands out in the Pacific Northwest Pack series, as unlike the other packs in the series, it is built with its own internal frame, straps and hip belt with nothing else needed to be ready to go. With a 3100 cubic inch capacity and an empty weight of 5.2 pounds, it truly is a light weight, long range pack.

Just because we designed the Raider as a light weight pack, does not mean we scrimped on the details. This pack is loaded with all the features you would expect from a Tactical Tailor pack. Starting at the top, you’ll find a clamshell style zipper that will let you access the entire contents of your pack. No more digging through your entire pack to find that one missing item. You’ll also find left and right side zippered access to hydration, an RTO zipper pass through and an oversized pocket on both sides for rifle buttstocks, 84mm rounds or just about anything else you can think to strap to the side of this pack. Rounding out the details are a heavy duty carry handle, multiple MOLLE attachment points, integrated load lifters and side compression straps. The Raider is also STRLLS and H Harness compatible for airborne operations.
