Crye Precision HALFJAK 2.0 Now Available in MultiCam Alpine

The new HALFJAK 2.0 combines your favorite features from its predecessor and some upgrades, to deliver a tried and true design concept that helps you stay warm and dry while granting access to critical gear on the plate carrier.

Enhancements include jump-tested shoulder pass through pockets that give access to underlayers and thumb loop cuffs that keep sleeves in place and fit over and under gloves.

A new J Hook offers secure attachment to plate carriers and chest rigs.

The HALFJAK 2.0 is available in MultiCam, MultiCam Alpine, Black, and Ranger Green.

Finland makes a better product at half the price imho. It’s not super awesome multicam alpine, but it’s snow colored.

So “Finland” makes it? What, the entire country? If you’re going to talk about something that’s supposedly better, why not come right out and name the specific company?

      • Richard Schagen says:

Or you could say ” What company is that Orly?”

      • Orly? says:

My apologies. It’s ESTONIA, but a Finnish company? I’m confused.

        Here’s their lineup:

The L5 are all sold out 🙁

I’m sure their L5 thermal anorak is a great piece of gear, they are in stock BTW, and fills a similar role, but I ‘d also be willing to bet it doesn’t pack quite as small. Glad both are on the market.

        • Lolssi says:

The Company is Finnish (Varusteleka) they just outsource the manufacturing process. And in this case it’s in Estonia which is right next door.
No different than Apple products being built who knows where, minus the kids 😛
Also M05 is king of snow camos (not that they need to be that complex to work). At least when it comes to pine forests.
L7 is also mostly out of stock at this moment. Says restock in couple of weeks but those might not always be right in my experience.

    • Lasse says:

They took the concept from NFM, a Norwegian company with Polish manufacturing.

The L5 is a full anorak – not the same thing as the Crye half jak.
