XTech Tactical Has Expanded The ATG Line To Include The SCAR Platform

Mesa, AZ (May 2015) – XTech Tactical™, an up and coming firearms accessories company, has expanded their offering of the patent pending ATG™ to include the FN Scar® platform.

The Adjustable Tactical Grip allows the operator to easily change to any one of three angles based on their preference and mission objectives.

The FN Scar® is a platform well-known for its ability to adapt to the user’s mission objectives. This platform paired with the ATG™ significantly increases the modularity and usability of the system.

In addition, the company has added a custom die cut rubberized grip tape to enhance the texture of the grip. All FN Scar® grips purchased from XTech Tactical™ directly will initially include the grip tape pre-installed and custom mounting hardware. MSRP is $29.99 available in Black and FDE.

The grip tape will be available pre-installed on the AR15/M4 variant for $24.99 MSRP and individually for $9.99 MSRP.

Haley Strategic – MP2 Magazine Pouch Insert

The HSP MP2 is an injection molded insert which adds retention capability to any open top nylon pockets, foregoing the need for bungie cord or a top flap.

The click-in design allows users to insert magazines bullets front or bullets back, which allows for a smooth draw without impacting the ability to quickly retain partial magazines, in the case of a tactical reload. The MP2 is compatible with magazines of various calibers, including 5.56, 7.62x39mm, 5.45, and .308. Additionally, the MP2 allows for users to store 5.56 magazines in .308-sized pockets.

The MP2 was build specifically for the D3CR and D3CR-H, however it will also work with nylon magazine carriers from a variety of manufacturers, including Mayflower Research & Consulting, Velocity Systems, LBT, FirstSpear, and more. FirstSpear Friday Focus – Forager Cap

During SHOT Show we gave you a sneak peek of the Forager Cap from FirstSpear. The story was quite popular and for this week’s Friday Focus, we are happy to announce that the Forager is now available for purchase. I’ve got one of the prototypes and I love it.

The Forager Cap features a slightly longer brim than other caps that gives extra shade and has a preformed, foldable bill that makes it a snap to store flat in your pocket. You’ll also notice that there are slits, called eyeglass channels, for the temple pieces of your eyepro that make sure they won’t go anywhere when stored above the brim.

The unique back hook strap combines stretch as well as a great deal of mechanical adjustment thanks to the buckle and loops. The Forager is also lined with an ultra light weight mesh for ventilation and wicking.

The front of the cap has a light weight breathable low nap pile from Velcro that will let you place a FS Cell Tag, PVC Patch or other ID marking. Additionally, the front breathable panel is embroidered with the FS logo if you don’t want to wear a patch.

Standard size currently available in Black, Coyote, and MultiCam. The Small size will be available in 4-6 weeks.

‘MEDIC In Your Wallet’ Crowdfunding Campaign

Matt Rosefsky, an instructor of MEDIC and SOLO, has started a project on the crowdfunding platform Tilt for a ‘Medic in your Wallet’. The finalized product will be a waterproof, tearproof foldout card, roughly the size and shape of a credit card (when stowed). It will fold out accordion-style, and feature the treatment steps for 48 individual topics, for review or to pull out when needed. Matt is a great instructor. My sons and I took a Wilderness First-Aid course from him a couple of years ago.

Nikon Introduces The New P-308 Rifle Scope

Nikon has just introduced the new P-308 4-12×40 BDC 800 rifle scope. It features a 4-12 magnification, a 40mm objective, fully multicoated lenses, and the BDC 800 reticle; the BDC 800 reticle was engineered for a .308 win/7.62x51mm NATO round with a 168-grain HBT Match bullet at 2680 fps.

The P-308 also features spring-loaded, Instant Zero-Reset Turrets with easy-grip course knurling, making in-field adjustments easier by allowing shooters to reset their turrets back to zero after sighting-in. The P-308 is also waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.

The P-308 is also optimized for use with Spot On Ballistic Match Technology. The Spot On program provides users with the exact aiming points on any BDC reticle for any load or ammunition at a specific range.
