Ramping up for a debut at SHOT Show, Mayflower has flipped the switch on their website and it is scheduled to go live today at 2 PM EST. The splash page alone has received over 5000 hits since it was published in October. Mayflower remains our go to guys for innovative load carrying and armor solutions designed by folks with recent real world experience. Their low frills approach to equipment design ensures that features are included for a reason and that the equipment will be as functional and lightweight as possible without sacrificing performance or durability.
Look for Mayflower products in booths throughout SHOT show.
To get a taste of what is to come visit them on the web at www.mayflower-rc.org.
We enjoy hearing from our readers whether about an article, a tip, or experience with a piece of kit.

Christmas season is upon us and we ran across this great gift idea, chocolate bullets in a miniature ammo can.
Each package comes with 20 rounds packed in a miniature ammo can and can be purchased individually or by the case from www.chocolateammo.com. The mini ammo cans (5″ L x 3.5″ W x 3.5″ H) are also available without candy.

If you want to write for Soldier Systems Daily its pretty simple. Just contact the Editor with your article idea. Seriously, that’s all you have to do. Generally, we want an article that is a couple of paragraphs long and answers the basic who, what, where, when, why, and how. Pictures are also helpful but make sure you have the permission of the owners. We are happy to give you a by-line but since thus far, this is a non-wealth generating pursuit, there will be no payment. However, so far everyone has wanted to keep it anonymous. One caveat for vendors, we will happily post press releases but the impact is much greater if someone checks out your product and writes an article on it.
