ADS Federal Range Day – Trijicon RMR Type 2 Battery Compartment Update

Friday, June 9th, 2017

Earlier this week, Trijicon released the RMR Type 2 which has a variety of new features including a button lockout mode as well as a battery conservation mode which auto adjusts to ambient lighting conditions (sleep mode) after 16.5 hours of inactivity. Additionally, there are eight intensity settings, including two night vision and one super bright setting. The CR2032 battery will last for four years on brightness setting four, or for five years in dark storage. And yes, it uses the same currently available mounting solutions.

But to users the biggest improvement is in the battery case. In this SSD exclusive you can see the new battery compartment for the CR 2032 battery. In addition to additional contacts, they’ve also incorporated a rubber gasket to mitigate shock to the battery while firing.

Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017

Hyperstealth Biotechnology Corp displayed their new USMC OPFOR (Opposing Force) camouflage in the ADS Inc booth during last week’s Special Operations Forces Industry Conference.

This is not the cut of uniform adopted by the Marines for use by their OPFOR. Instead, their uniforms use this camouflaged fabric but are in the MCCUU cut. Below is a close up of the pattern.
