Raine Kickstarter Contest

We are 61% funded on the Kickstarter in the first week! It’s time to vote for the best name for the MOLLE Cover.

You can support and back the project at our Kickstarter campaign page: Raine MOLLE Cover for Tubes on Kickstarter.

The highest voted name will receive a free MOLLE Cover and if you back the Kickstarter we will refund your reward purchase.

Rules:
1 Back the kickstarter and if your product name is selected, we will refund your purchase and ship you a free one.
2 No names with the word Tube or Tubes™ (We will respect the trademark of FirstSpear®)
3 We have a planned cummerbund that has the MOLLE Cover integrated into it and a split front chest rig. The name should work with those as well.
For examples, MOLLE Bridge Cummerbund and MtG Split Front Chest Rig.
4 We have a planned versions that will work with other buckles, quick release systems, and hardware that solve the same problem. The cover will eliminate the gap created by these buckles and give you back the prime MOLLE real-estate that was lost.
5 Must be a minimum of 18 years old to be eligible for a Free MOLLE Cover.
6 Winner will receive one MOLLE Cover and can choose Multicam, Coyote or Black for color.
7 You can make multiple suggestions in the comment section (we will count all positive comments posted below your suggested name towards the vote).
8 The Winner’s reward will be shipped with the same schedule as the first Early Bird’s on the Kickstarter.
9 Contest ends at Midnight tonight Monday 01/15/18.

Team MultiCam Presents – Luie Zendejas

In this installment of the Team MultiCam video series we meet Army SOF Veteran Luie Zendejas. Zendejas joined the military at the age of 17, knowing that he wanted to serve his country, be challenged and excel at everything the military threw at him. With assignments in the 75th Ranger Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and an Army special missions unit, Zendejas made the most out of his military career.

In his spare time, Zendejas performs as a highly skilled professional motorcycle racer, competing in the WERA Motorcycle Roadracing series and applying the same tireless ambition to raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. “Giving back to my military family is imperative,” stated Zendejas. “The goals of the SOWF are to provide for veterans and their families. I know first hand how important the Special Operations Forces are for our military, and I want nothing more than to help in any way possible.”

Reminder: Lancer-Systems Supports End of Watch Raffle for Two Slain Kissimmee Police Department Officers

Lancer-Systems, manufacturers of Hybrid Advanced Warfighting Magazines, carbon-fiber handguards and a range of L15 and L30 rifles, is honored to sponsor a custom built Lancer-Systems L15 Patrol Rifle Raffle. The income of which will benefit the families of Officer Matthew Baxter, EOW 08/18/2017, and Sergeant Richard “Sam” Howard, EOW 08/19/2017.

Said Ross Botha, Lancer Director of Government & International Sales: “This is a small gesture by Lancer-Systems to try and help make their loved ones’ lives a little easier. It is hoped that this raffle will bring in much needed funds for those left behind by this tragedy.”

James Yeager Wants You To Help Him Launch YeagerTUBE

As many of you may know, James Yeager has been banned by YouTube. To be sure, Yeager is a controversial figure in the firearms business. Some consider his banning is a blow to free speech while others feel that he brought it on himself. Regardless, we have to acknowledge that YouTube and other major social media platforms have become central to modern communications. Not many alternatives exist. Yeager recognized this and has developed a plan to create his own video hosting platform which he initially called YeagerTUBE, noting, “I am looking to build a free speech oasis in a sea of left wing censorship.”

The project has been renamed LiberTV with the project described as “WE are going to build a place where our freedom loving culture can share photos, articles, videos and podcasts. A place that doesn’t muzzle the voices of freedom and that cherishes our heritage.”

To make it a reality, he’s launched a Kickstarter campaign.

Now On Kickstarter – SightLines: Headset Cushions with Zero Eyewear Interference by Noisefighters

Wearing both eyepro and earpro while at the range can become pretty annoying when the earpieces of the glasses break seal of the ear cups. Noisefighters has developed the first over-ear headset cushions to feature zero eyewear interference. Called SightLines, they are currently available on Kickstarter.

Noisefighters tells us that when SightLines cushions are worn correctly, eyewear no longer causes hot spots around the ears. In addition, the unique horseshoe ring design and use of silicone gel and memory foam softens the cushion so much that compression is significantly reduced, pressure is better equalized across a larger surface area, and eyewear will not sit crookedly or need to be constantly adjusted. The cushions are also quite roomy, so ears will not feel cramped. Headaches are also significantly reduced or eliminated compared to traditional ear cushions.

Government testing has shown a 1-10+ decibel decrease in sound deadening when eyewear breaks the head seal on traditional ear cushions used on earmuffs.

The cushions are compatible with most of the popular headsets used by shooters and aviators: Howard Leight Impact Sport/Pro, 3M Peltor (including Optime, RangeGuard, Sport Tactical, Tactical Sport, and ComTac/SWATTac), MSA Sordin, Walker’s Razor Slim, TCI Liberator/DEHP, Gentex SPH-4/5 helmets, Aviation Survival Evo helmets, and a ton more headphones and aviation headsets from Bose, etc.

Even more promising, these aftermarket pads are less expensive than gel replacements from the OEM.
