Propper Celebrates Guns & Hoses $700,000 Record

Friday, March 2nd, 2018

St. Charles, MO – As a major sponsor, Propper recently celebrated with Budweiser Guns & Hoses as they raised a record $700,000 in one night for The Backstoppers.

Founded in 1987, Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses is a fundraising event consisting of three-round boxing matches between area police officers and firefighters, held to benefit The BackStoppers. Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses, which has grown into one of the premier fundraising events in the St. Louis area, has raised $6.1 million to date.

“We are proud to continue to sponsor this important event that benefits the families of first responders who were injured or killed serving the communities they loved,” said Hannah Foley, Director of Marketing for Propper. “From covering medical expenses to providing education for the children left behind, Backstoppers has consistently helped family members get through the toughest times.”

The Backstoppers organization hosts the annual Budweiser Guns & Hoses charity boxing match where police officers and firefighters face off in an evening of charity matches benefiting the families of critically injured and fallen first responders.

Started in 1959, The BackStoppers provides needed financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of all police officers, firefighters and volunteer firefighters, and publicly-funded paramedics and EMTs who have lost their lives or suffered a catastrophic injury performing their duty.

Max Venom Product Group Launches Fast Fire Device for GLOCK! Crowdfunding Campaign on Indiegogo

Thursday, March 1st, 2018

Colin Despins of Max Venom Tactical has created an Indiegogo campaign for his latest invention, the Fast Fire Device for GLOCK!

The FFD-H is optimized for a GLOCK 17 or a full-size Lone Wolf frame. It can be installed or uninstalled from the host firearm in seconds and without any tools. But the real point is that it also allows for the handgun to achieve a full auto-like rate of fire. With legislation pending to ban bumpfire stocks and other, similar devices, Despins decided to launch the crowdfunding campaign sooner rather than later.

In addition to this video, they promise additional imagery of the device in action on their instagram page Max_Venom_Product_Group.

The last paragraph on the campaign’s webpage is pretty interesting:

Special Note – In no event shall Max Venom (MaxVenom.com), or any agents of Max Venom, be held liable for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of this product. By backing this project the user/purchaser agrees to hold harmless Max

Venom, indefinitely.

The campaign’s page is www.indiegogo.com/projects/fast-fire-device-for-glock.

Team MultiCam Presents – Luie Zendejas

Monday, January 15th, 2018

In this installment of the Team MultiCam video series we meet Army SOF Veteran Luie Zendejas. Zendejas joined the military at the age of 17, knowing that he wanted to serve his country, be challenged and excel at everything the military threw at him. With assignments in the 75th Ranger Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and an Army special missions unit, Zendejas made the most out of his military career.

In his spare time, Zendejas performs as a highly skilled professional motorcycle racer, competing in the WERA Motorcycle Roadracing series and applying the same tireless ambition to raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. “Giving back to my military family is imperative,” stated Zendejas. “The goals of the SOWF are to provide for veterans and their families. I know first hand how important the Special Operations Forces are for our military, and I want nothing more than to help in any way possible.”
