Memorial Chips from Inglorious Amateurs

Monday, July 13th, 2015

Inglorious Amateurs produced these Memorial chips to highlight the 34 stars added to the CIA’s Memorial Wall since 9/11.

Each chip features a version of the Memorial Wall star and a quote from the inscription on the wall that reads, “For Those Who Gave Their Lives In The Service Of Their Country”. On the other side is our Inglorious Amateurs logo, url and moto: “Nos Longe Inter Paucos”.

These are all numbered, with an initial run of only 100 available. They are donating $5.00 from every chip purchased to the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation.

Warrior West – Sneak Peek “The Dude”

Wednesday, April 29th, 2015

One of the first things I was shown at this year’s ADS Inc Warrior West Expo at the San Diego Convention Center was this gun case. Its only marking was a decal from Stumpies Custom Guns. Located in Swansboro, NC, Stumpies is a small custom shop run by wounded warrior Marine EOD Vets amd well known to many.

The real surprise is once you get inside the case, and the story behind it. Named “The Dude”, this rifle will be raffled off later this year to raise funds for the EOD Warrior Foundation. The name derives from the nickname of a buddy of Stumpies owner, Brad Lang who was killed in action. As raffled, it will include everything you see here like the Leupold optic and Adams Industries night vision device as well as several other goodies not yet ready.

As you can see in this photo, the .308 AI action has been engraved with the rifle’s name.

You’ll be seeing a lot more of this gun. In fact, it’s scheduled to be a featured article in an upcoming issue issue of Harris Publications‘ Tactical Weapons magazine.

Please Join Me In Donating To The Combat Control Museum

Thursday, April 9th, 2015

The Benini Heritage Center and Museum is located at the Combat Control School at Pope Field, NC.

The museum is named after Alcide S. “Bull” Benini (seen above circa 1951), a WWII Bataan Death March survivor 1942 and veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division 1946-1952, he transitioned to the USAF and became its first Combat Controller in 1953.

There have only been about 3,000 Combat Controllers in the history of the careerfield. Unfortunately, the facility cannot be properly maintained solely from funds donated by survivng CCT members and the USAF does not find the museum. That’s why they need our help.

My first two USAF assignments were as a Special Tactics Intelligence Officer. I learned first hand about the capabilities Combat Control brings to the fight. Many of you have worked with them in other capacities. Now is our chance to give back and help them preserve their heritage.

Every little bit helps.

Introducing the Honor Line from Dynamis Alliance

Tuesday, March 17th, 2015

As Dynamis Alliance has established itself, founder Dom Raso wanted to do something to give back to others.  He created a deep bond with the men he served with as a SEAL and decided to start by memorializing them.  He has introduced a series of limited edition T-shirts.  All of the proceeds from their sale will go either directly to the family of the man honored by the shirt or to an appropriate charity.

On March 17, 2010, we lost Dom’s teammate Adam Brown in a battle in Afghanistan’s Kunar Province.  With artwork by Nobody, the shirt’s components honor his devotion to God and his Arkansas heritage.
