The MBS-3 uniform has now been delivered to a series of Army and Police units in Poland since its original reveal in August 2015. The MBS-3 uniform is also available in fire-retardant DEFENDER-M version.

The MBS-3 uniform is being offered in the full A-TACS family of camo patterns (MBS-3 is available in most patterns on request). Gunfighters Inc – Spectre Shoulder Holster

Sunday, March 27th, 2016

1

Gunfighters Inc has decided to reimagine the shoulder holster with the Spectre. The Spectre is a hybrid of nylon and kydex, fully modular with multiple swappable components: single and double magazine pouches, pistol holsters for several popular handgun models, and a suppressor carrier. Future components will include, but are not limited to, handcuff carriers and rifle magazine carriers. The components attach via buckles, so they’re easy to swap; click a button and you’re done. On top of that, the buckles have 135° of pivot for comfort and are designed to be low-profile.

2

The Spectre is designed to conceal under a light jacket, and the cant angle is adjustable. Additionally, the harness itself is 4-way adjustable, and is made in-house at Gunfighters Inc, out of US sourced components. Those of you looking for an alternative to typical belt carry systems may want to give the Spectre a look.

First Tactical – New Belt Line

Sunday, March 20th, 2016

PRBelt1

Introducing First Tactical’s Line of Range and BDU Belts.

First Tactical Belts are pre-curved for an ergonomic fit and composed of a double layer reinforced nylon webbing with a HD polymer buckle.

PRBelt2

Each belt features a double bar buckle that is built for low profile and a metal-free, airport-friendly wear. Designed to have half the bulkiness of its competitors, the double bar buckle works with First Tactical’s flip tab adjustment to facilitate grip for easy cinch and release.

Each style of belt features a twill weave edge which provides smoother feeding through belt loops while five rows of stitching and two layers of rip-resistant HD nylon webbing provide strength for all of your gear.

PRBelt4

The belts also feature a small inner pocket, perfect for a cuff key, money, or other compact gear.

Both the Range and BDU Belts come in Black, Coyote, and OD Green with widths of 1.5” or 1.75”. Both sizes range from small to 4XL. The Range belts sell for $19.99, while the BDU Belts sell for $14.99.

Meridian Transport Case from Triple Aught Design

Friday, March 18th, 2016

It’s hard to believe that development of a bag would yield an entire system that includes 31 products, but that’s what happened when Triple Aught Design came up with the Meridian Transport Case. Consisting of a clamshell-style case, transport cubes, control panel and compression straps, these options allow you to configure your load for this very well appointed piece of luggage.

It’s made from high quality materials. Made from VX-21 Ripstop Shell, VX-03 Lining and Hypalon Synthetic Rubber. The VX family of fabrics is quite common for luggage. As you can see from the specs below, it’s got plenty of room for travel.

Volume
Center Compartment : 1365.00 cu in (22.37 liters)
Side Compartments : 477.50 cu in (7.83 liters)
Total : 2320.50 cu in (38.03 liters)

Two Open-Top Exterior Pockets (Next-to-Body Pocket Offers Additional Zippered Admin Pocket)

These photos depict the transport cubes (airflow, viewport and defender). There is also a control panel which is a PALS compatible insert. Both of these categories of accessories are available in various sizes offering plenty of options to customize your bag. Additionally, it includes a non-slip, ergonomic shoulder strap as well as tubular nylon carry handles. The Meridian Transport Case is designed to fit under an airline seat as well as in overhead bins, even on regional aircraft.

Released last week, it’s seen brisk sales, in spite of its price tag. I know it’s hard for a lot of people to wrap their heads around, but these were Made in the USA and that’s just not cheap. Granted, a few of the materials are foreign sourced, but the assembly was done here.

The color is Satin, Matte but it looks like Black to me.

Mystery Ranch – RFAK Is Now Available

Friday, March 11th, 2016

If you’re like me, you’re asking yourself, “what is in RFAK?” Turns out, the answer is simpler than I thought.

The new Removable First Aid Kit (RFAK) replaces the MR IFAK and was created at the request of a rather well known guy out of Camp Lejeuene.  It’s named Removable because it incorporates an insert which holds the medical items and can be removed from the pouch.

Inside the RFAK, the medical contents are contained in an expandable bundle with elastic webbing and held to the pouch with velcro. The outside container is essentially a durable shell for the contents. A pull of the handle allows quick, one-handed access to all the contents. This allows for easier and quicker self-aid or handing off to a buddy.

Available Coyote, OD and MultiCam, the RFAK is available from www.mysteryranch.com/RFAK.

FirstSpear Friday Focus – Bullfrog

Friday, March 11th, 2016

For this week’s Friday Focus, we’re taking a look at the FS Bullfrog.

Bullfrog_Back

The Bullfrog is one of the latest in FirstSpear’s line of user driven Maritime Plate Carriers, designed to fill the role of a passive/slightly positive approach for a Maritime Carrier, as requested by select FirstSpear end users. In that regard, the Bullfrog utilizes a unique foam insert that has been environmentally sealed in a watertight nylon laminate; the foams have been constructed in specific layers and densities so that the maximum amount of flexibility with the lowest possible amount of bulk is achieved.

BouyancyCompensators

The Bullfrog also utilizes the FS standard Buoyancy Compensators in the front and rear, which provide 5 lbs. of lift each, and is also adaptable to the belt mounted TFSS Flotation system, or various Flotation Collars. The Bullfrog is best paired with either FS’ Neutrally Buoyant Ballistic Plate, or the FS Patrol Plate.

SealedFlotationInserts

Currently available in Coyote, in either Medium or Large SAPI plate cut.

Skidplate

FirstSpear also wanted to take this opportunity to introduce the Skid Plate. The Skid Plate is an accessory designed for SAPI Plate Carriers, used for long-term high abrasion-resistant protection for plate carriers exposed to the abuse from caving ladders and other cable assist climbing implements. Despite the appearance and feel of the high tenacity fibers used in the construction of the Skid Plate, it is not ballistic. It’s also only available in black.
