Looks like Survival Tactical Systems had quite the weekend at Western North Carolina’s Catawba Falls. They check out a few pieces of kit as well.
During the trip they also used Luci Inflatable Solar Powered Lights. I love those things and give them away as inexpensive gifts to family and friends.

Tier1-Dad is the brainchild of Jack Osborne who showed me a sneak peek of the line during SHOT Show 2015. While it seems to have taken awhile to get it going, Jack has been hard at working being the best dad he can. And, that’s what he wanted with this military inspired brand of clothing and accessories for infants, toddlers and their parents. It’s really well thought out stuff, for great dads.
The bags look like something a dad would own; range, messenger and duffle-styles, but they work quite well as diaper bags. All of thes American Made designs include a laser cut PALS compatible field But T1D also has an optional insert for bottles.

Longtab Brewing was founded by some SF dudes who love beer. SF guys loving beer? Imagine that. But I digress.
They originally wanted to call the company Meerket brewing due to the mascot of their ODA (2023, seen in silhouette below during operations in Afghanistan in 2002) but the name was taken by a wine company. So, they chose another name with a nod to their DNA. It’s a good fit. Their planned beverages also have appropriate names.
