Lockheed Martin Submits Bid for Special Operations Forces’ Global Logistics Support Services Program

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 1, 2016 – Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has submitted a proposal for U.S. Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM) next-generation logistics and sustainment support program.

Under the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) contract, U.S. Special Operations Forces will receive a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services worldwide.

The SOF GLSS program is the competitive follow-on contract to the Special Operations Forces Contractor Logistics Support Services (SOF CLSS) contract.

Awarded to Lockheed Martin in 2010, SOF CLSS is USSOCOM’s largest service contract vehicle, providing the full scope of logistics services required to support the U.S. Special Operations community.

Galco Announces Two New Sales Team Members

Galco Gunleather is excited to welcome two new additions to its sales force:

Reed Gabrielson earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Political Science and Criminal justice from California University Long Beach. He brings extensive sales experience in the firearms industry, in both the retail and wholesale spheres. Reed is also an active participant in the practical shooting sports, including 3 Gun, USPSA, and IDPA.

After serving in the US Army, Dave Starin went on to a twenty- year career in law enforcement, spending 14 of those years with SWAT. He’s a state LE and NRA-certified firearms instructor. Dave was Gunsite Academy’s Director of Training from 2010 through 2016, and remains a Gunsite Rangemaster. Dave’s wealth of real-world experience will be a great asset to Galco’s sales team.

Operation Blue: Giving Back to Law Enforcement

Panteao Productions Hosts Free Law Enforcement Training in Swansea, SC

Columbia, SC, October 31, 2016 – This past weekend Panteao Productions hosted Operation Blue at the Panteao facility in Swansea, SC.

Operation Blue was started by Robert Keller from Gamut Resolutions. It is Robert’s way of giving back to law enforcement by providing them with free training in the use of their carbines and handguns. Supporters of the event included Daniel Defense, Ghost Inc, Freedom Munitions, Tactical Supplies 4 Less, and North American Rescue.

Officers representing Horry County Sheriff’s Dept., SLED, City of Columbia, SC Highway Patrol, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Dept., Lexington County Sheriff’s Dept., SC DNR, Kershaw County Sheriff’s Dept, Richland County Sheriff’s Dept., and the SC Criminal Justice Agency participated.

New Front Sights Options From Blitzkrieg Components

First is a new bright orange color option that is now available in addition to the black, white and luminescent green options previously available. Gerber’s Portland Plant Moves To 24 Hour, 7 Days A Week American Manufacturing

PORTLAND, OREGON – Gerber, a leading producer of personal knives, tools, and gear, announced today that it has brought on a third shift at its Portland, OR USA Manufacturing plant. Responding to increasing demand for new and existing US Made products, the Brand expanded local employment and plant operations to 24/7.
