The AUFIRE System is in the SOTECH booth (#20113).
The Accuracy Under Fire Trainer System (AUFIRE) was developed by Tim Pearce, a veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department. They describe it as a uniquely intense and realistic gunfight training tool designed to improve one’s aim, accuracy and focus during heated gunfire force-on- force scenarios. In short, the AUFIRE system simulates being hit by gunfire, and it forces the trainee to problem solve under the intense distraction and random immobilization of a limb during a gunfight, the trainee feels as if they have been shot. AUFIRE takes away the guesswork and reveals the participant’s real reactions to having one or more of their body parts completely incapacitated in a gunfight.
US Tactical Supply is showing Raven Wrap.
Key Points:
-long term sustainment behind the tripod
-enhanced shooting support heights
-enhanced conceal ability
-integrates tools even while stripped down (ie: zip ties, accessory straps, Kestrel pouch)
They’ve also got a JP Rifle with a Badger C1 Mount and Leupold MK5 all done in a Prismatic Green / Red Brown ceracoat finish which came out awesome.
Scalarworks showed is a version of the Leap Mount with 1.93″ height and 34mm rings. This is great for the new Vortex 10x. The Leap is CNC milled from 7075-T6 billet. It also incorporates a hinged ring system rather than the split rings found on other mounts.
Håkan Spuhr showed is this new side folding stock for the MP5.
We asked him if it would fit 5.56mm H&K guns. He said he hadn’t tried it out yet, but that it definitely as the going to work as it is for a G3 family rifle due to the recoil springs.
Spuhr AB is exhibiting with with Mile High Shooting Accessories.
OTIS Technology gave us a sneak peek at their new Automated Suppressor Cleaner. It uses heat and pressure to pump a liquid cleaning medium through the suppressor on a timed cycle. It is a scalable technology and can be offered with multiple ports for suppressors or a tray for other parts.
Stop by ADS Inc (booth #20415) to check out these UAS technologies:
Liteye Skywall Patrol Handheld Drone Capture System: SkyWall Patrol is a handheld system that gives a mobile operator the ability to physically capture a drone in a specifically designed ‘drone entangling’ net. It uses compressed air to launch a projectile up to the drone after the operator has targeted it using the onboard SmartScope.
FLIR R80D SkyRaider: This advanced multi-mission UAS was developed for U.S. Defense and Federal Government Customers and can carry and deliver multiple payloads up to 4.4 lbs, an open architecture, and one of the fastest, most powerful embedded AI computing devices available on sUAS.
QinetiQ Shoulder-Worn Acoustic Targeting System (SWATS): QinetiQ’s SWATS is a compact, shoulder-worn acoustic targeting system that detects, locates and displays hostile shooter location in less than a quarter of a second.
