Warrior Countdown – Tactical Combat Casualty Care Demo & Stop the Bleed Course at Warrior EAST
Wednesday, June 26th, 2019ADS Inc is offering some great medical training opportunities for attendees of next month’s Warrior Expo EAST at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, July 10-11. Be sure to register at warriorexpo.com.
In response to the recent Virginia Beach tragedy, ADS, Inc. is taking extra steps to provide Warrior Expo EAST-goer’s plenty of medical training and educational opportunities around responding to casualties both in and out of theater.
Tactical Combat Casualty Care Demo
Tier 1 Group (T1G) is a training services company uniquely qualified to assist and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOF-specific requirements as well as conventional Special Purpose Forces, Law Enforcement, and OGAs. The script, actors, and medical training will be coordinated and sponsored by T1G both days of Warrior EAST.
As an attendee, you will follow along with trained and skilled actors as they administer the various steps of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) to a massive hemorrhage victim with multiple injuries. Immediately following this 30-minute demo, ADS Representatives will walk through the various stages of care as well as speak to the vendor products that were used in the demonstration. Various medical partners will be providing the tourniquets, litters, combat gauze, AED, and much more!

As pioneers in medical training simulations, ADS hopes to bring our team’s knowledge, experience, and expertise to DoD, military, and first responders in attendance at this year’s event.
Stop the Bleed Course
Sponsored by The Raytom Group (#1211), Phokus Research Group (#1101), Tactical Medical Solutions (#1201) and Z-Medica.
Stop the Bleed is a campaign to educate the public on how to effectively reduce blood loss in an injured patient. It can be taught to any and all skill levels. The Raytom Group specializes in instructional services in medicine and TacMed. Stop the Bleed in service will cover the following:
• Identifying different types of bleeding
• Methods to control these types of bleeds
• Treating the patient post bleeding control
• Basic, advanced, and field craft methods to control difficult bleeds
All attendees will receive a certificate of completion documenting their continuing education accreditation (1-hr).

Warfighter Countdown – Warrior Expo East Key Note & Educational Courses
Wednesday, June 12th, 2019The Warrior Expo East takes place on July 10-11, 2019 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
Warrior East will kick off with Keynote Address by Admiral James Stavridis on July 10th at 0900.
A distinguished leader and longest-serving global combatant commander in recent American military history, James Stavridis provides answers and strategies to address the most pressing global affairs challenges.
The subject is “The Key to Being An Effective Leader” which is based on his nearly four decades of military service, advocating a unique model of “leader as servant.”
Just like last year, there will be some great training available for attendees. But having reviewed the schedule, this year looks even better. Here are two standouts.
First up is a UAS-centric course presented by ADS’ very own Business Development Manager, Creighton Holt. Class topic: C4ISR: Counter UAS—The Rise of Commercial Threats, July 10, 1200 -1300
There’s also a Human Performance course taught by Rob Wilson, Human Performance Specialist, who has trained individuals in the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Program which will focused on controlling stress response. The same tactics SEALs and Snipers use to stay calm in the heat of battle are the same techniques used to lower your heart rate to fall asleep or recover from a TBI.
