FN SCAR-SC Now Available to U.S. Law Enforcement Customers

(McLean, VA – January 17, 2018) FN America, LLC is pleased to announce the release of the FN SCAR®-SC carbine, available to U.S. federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. The 5.56x45mm-caliber FN SCAR-SC builds on the FN SCAR heritage with an extremely compact design that’s ideal for special response teams and SWAT. The new FN SCAR-SC will be on display at FN’s booth (#13662) at 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 22 – 26, 2018.

Specifically adapted for mobility and flexibility, the FN SCAR-SC is offered in the U.S. as select-fire only with a non-reciprocating charging handle and telescoping buttstock. Existing users of FN SCAR® will already be familiar with how to operate this rifle, minimizing training time.

F4 Defense Releases New Small-Frame 6.5 Creedmoor And .308 With Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrels

F4 Defense has been working alongside Remington® over the past year establishing a licensing agreement, utilizing the DPMS® Gen II patents, and incorporating them into a high-quality precision rifle. Furthermore, F4 has partnered with Proof Research® in the manufacturing of carbon fiber barrels, specific to the new F4X platform.

The F4X 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win will be on display at this year’s SHOT Show, Booth #N315, 3rd Floor on the NEXT Pavilion.

F4 Defense will initially release three variants of the F4X: 6.5 Creedmoor featuring a 22” Proof Research® carbon fiber barrel with CAMGAS system; .308 with 16” 1×8 Proof Research carbon fiber barrel; and .308 18” 1×10 Proof Research Stainless Steel Barrel. The F4X weighs in at roughly 7.5lbs.

The F4X was designed to fill a void in the hunting, competition, and LE/military markets. It’s the next step in the advancement of large caliber gas guns that vastly improves upon large frame AR-10s. The F4X is smaller, lighter, and just as accurate as any of the leading AR-10s currently on the market.

Each F4X comes standard with the Trigger Tech® Adaptable AR Primary Trigger and patent pending F4 Adaptive Rail System (ARS). The F4X features a flat-wire buffer spring, hydraulic buffer, and APA® Little Bastard™ Muzzle Brake. This combination results in a smooth and soft shooting rifle. Atlas Gunworks Releases the Titan Operator Pistol

North Ferrisburgh, VT – Atlas Gunworks has released the Titan Operator 9mm pistol for duty and self-defense. It’s based on the popular Titan competition pistol and is the newest pistol in Atlas’ growing lineup.

Atlas understands that competition guns aren’t the best choice for military, law enforcement or self-defense. So, when the tactical team at a west coast sheriff’s department requested 9mm Titans for duty, the Titan Operator was born. Atlas starts with a full-custom 2011 Titan in fit and finish and adds features for the tactical user. Features include a DLC coated, tri-topped and lightened slide, 5” KKM bull barrel, PT aluminum grip, 19 + 1 capacity, tactical rear sight and a railed frame.

Pistols for duty and self-defense require an extra measure of reliability. It must run in extreme conditions with many different types of ammunition.
