Crye Precision Releases StockPad for AirFrame Chops

The Crye Precision AirFrame is currently the most innovative ballistic helmet design on the market. When combined with the removable ballistic chops, not only do you look like a Spartan Warrior but also gain some much needed maxillofacial protection. While it is quite possible to effect a cheek weld with a rifle, the finish of the Chops can be quite slick against the stock.

At SHOT Show this year Crye unveiled the StockPad, an adhesive backed high friction material that can be applied by the user to the Chops. Offered in right and left versions, the StockPad helps you get a good grip on that stock.

Available now in any color so long as its Black.

How to Order MultiCam LXVI Vans

Just as soon as we ran our story about the upcoming LXVI Vans in MultiCam we started fielding emails on how to order the shoes.

They should debut in April and there will be three ways to secure yours. They will be available at the Vans website. Additionally, Crye Precision will offer them on their website as well. Finally, you can also check with your local Vans LXVI retailer.

Crye Precision 2013 Catalog

Here it is, in all its glory, the 2013 Crye Precision catalog. They were handing these out during SHOT Show but ran out by the first day. A lot of folks are worked up over this year’s T-shirts from Crye. Read the intro on page two. Hopefully, that will put it all into perspective for you.

A quick note about the fidelity of the images. We pulled back a bit on the resolution in order to make it downloadable for the guys downrange. We hope you understand.

SHOT Show – Duro MultiCam Fabrics

Duro has finally introduced a MultiCam pack cloth called Gamma. This 400D fabric is printed in the MultiCam pattern and available now. It’s a lightweight fabric with a slick hand. Some will say that it isn’t very abrasion resistant and compared to 1000D Cordura it isn’t. But remember, we won a couple of wars using pack cloth. It can be a great tradeoff for low weight, you just have to consider what you’re using it for.

Crye Charity Auction Open to All SHOT Show Attendees

Each year Crye Precision sponsors a silent auction with proceeds going to military charities. In years past you had to be present at the party to participate but this year they have opened it up TPT all attendees. In addition to the Boba Fett themed AirFrame helmet and Salient Arms MultiCam Glock, the are a couple of other items you need to check out in booth #27403.
