Hazard 4 Skin Diver

Monday, July 8th, 2013

The Skin Diver from Hazard 4 joins the Combat Seal and Combat Base rash guards as one of three new shirts meant for use in the water. In all three cases they’ve assembled a garment made from the strategic placement of materials in different areas.

In the case of the Skin Diver they’ve combined 2mm neoprene on the chest with 1.5mm neoprene for the abdomen/back/arms. Additionally, Hazard 4 has incorporated loop material panels on the arms and chest for unit patches, i.d.’s, name-tapes, morale patches, and glint tape.

Sizes small – 2xlarge.

Hazard 4 had several new items on display including the Smuggler, a padded rifle sling bag. Designed to take up to AK sized rifles, it will easily accept SBRs as well as broken down carbines. There are plenty of accessory pockets and the carrying strap can be tucked out of the way.

Coming later this year.

Hazard 4 has introduced the Coyote color to their popular Badger ID holder, previously available only in Black. It not only features a full 3″ x 5″ loop fastener field to attach badges but also a basic wallet/organizer on the reverse. Hazard 4 displayed their new Defense Courier Bag. This bag is feature laden and well thought out. From the shoulder strap with optional third attachment, to the numerous compartments, the bag will fit up to a 17″ Mac Pro as well as room for more in the expandable main pocket.

A zipper across the main flap allows access to the internal compartments. These include a padded laptop sleeve, expandable main compartment and organizer compartment. Finally, Hazard 4 recently adopted a new webbing with a more pronounced weave that allows buckles to take a deeper bite and avoid slippage.

In addition to Coyote and Black, Hazard 4 has also introduced the Defense Courier Bag in A-TACS and MultiCam.

Blood-Type Markers

Sunday, July 17th, 2011

Hazard 4 recently introduced their new blood-type markers after learning about military personnel marking their blood types on their boot heels or lacing dog tags into their bootlaces. Rather, these 3-d injection-molded rubber markers, won’t wear off like markers and won’ become secondary projectiles in an IED event. In addition to the bootlace application you see above, they can also be used for bracelets, or as zipper pulls. Available in Black/Grey, Coyote, OD Green, and Glow-in-Dark.

Messenger of Doom

Friday, June 11th, 2010

New from Hazard 4 is the Messenger of Doom or MOD Bag. Obviously, it is a messenger style and offers a generous amount of internal space for laptops, modular containers, and other equipment. Additionally, the MOD is slathered in PALS goodness in order to custom tailor loads. There is also a removable smooth sided flap that helps conceal the true purpose of the MOD Bag and makes it look like a mild-mannered although stylish computer bag.

The main compartment is actually large enough to carry a sub-machine gun while the laptop sleeve is accessible without opening the main compartment and will also accommodate an armor plate if you decide to leave your computer at home. Another great feature is the padded shoulder strap has a third attachment point to further stabilize the load. The MOD Bag is available in Black as well as Coyote and is made from 1000D Cordura.

I was fortunate enough to take a look at it during SHOT Show and am impressed. If you are in the market for a computer bag that does a little more than its contemporaries, the MOD Bag is worth checking out. www.Hazard4.com

3-D Rubber Patches

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

3-D Patch from Hazard 4“Progressive Tactical” is Hazard 4’s motto. A new division of Civilian Labs, Hazard 4 made their debut at SHOT Show and we were impressed with what we saw. Most of their products fit in the unique column but their 3-D Rubber Patches are simply sublime. If any one product could sum up what is Hazard 4, this is it. This isn’t yet another embroidered patch. Instead they are manufactured from rubber and feature raised lettering and features a hook back to make them easy to attach and remove from your equipment. Available in Black/Grey, Coyote, or glow in the dark. The Infidel patch seen here is joined by the American flag as well as the Hazard 4 logo. Go to www.hazard4.com and check out their entire line of new products.
