BulletSafe has recently launched a Kickstarter page for a bulletproof baseball cap, designed to function as a more ‘grey’ alternative to traditional ballistic helmets for Law Enforcement and civilians. The cap is a Flexfit, six-panel cap which includes a BulletSafe ballistic panel. Prototypes of the cap have been tested up to NIJ Level IIA standard, having stopped .40, 9mm, .22 LR, and .38 caliber rounds, and BulletSafe expects the full production model will meet those same standards.

MSM Labs, based in Germantown, MD, has developed a case for iPhone models 6 and 6 Plus which incorporates a Night Vision Camera, MicroSD Slot, and battery pack into a single unit.
The NVC is capable of capturing 5MP pictures and HD video in total darkness up to 30 feet thanks to the eight 940nm LEDs built into the case. The camera can also be remotely monitored and can record video anywhere within WiFi reach of your iPhone or iPad through use of a free NVC app available on the iOS store.
The MicroSD slot is the default save location for any video or pictures taken with the NVC. Using the free app, camera roll pictures and videos on the iPhone can also be stored to the MicroSD, offering increased storage capacity.
Additionally, a Lithium Polymer battery incorporated into the NVC case can provide up to an additional 100% charge to the iPhone.

The 50 is a US-made jacket created by a company called Dirtball, which deals exclusively in 100% US-made, 100% eco-friendly products. It is called The 50 because it is made entirely from 50 recycled water bottles. Post-consumer plastic bottles are sorted, stripped of their labels and caps, and ground down to shavings, which are melted and formed into a polyester fiber that is chemically and functionally similar to virgin polyester.
The 50 is a puffer jacket, intended for colder climates. The shell fabric is 70D 4.5 oz/sq yd treated with DWR. The body fill is 6D 11.5 oz/sq yd polyester, and the arm fill is 6D 8.5 oz/sq yd polyester.
The 50 is 100% recyclable. Customers will be able to send The 50 back to Dirtball for reprocessing, receiving a discount on future Dirtball purchases. Additionally, production of The 50 employs up to 150 American workers during the jacket’s three-month production cycle.

OFFPISTE is currently seeking funding for an UltraPack currently up on KickStarter. Capable of holding 7 liters + 3 extendable liters, this UltraPack is highly versatile and designed for use with all levels of physical activity.
The triangular shape of the UltraPack and the high degree of modularity makes it a great option for hiking, running, kayaking, or general use. Its shape allows for complete freedom of movement in the chest and shoulders while still allowing easy access to any internal items. It’s also adjustable to be worn on either shoulder by adjusting the main strap to either side.
