This is Klymit’s first two-person sleeping bag. It’s customizable to accommodate each sleeper’s comfort level. It’s rated down to 30 deg F thanks to 650 fill-power down. Ventilation is accomplished via two-way zippers on each side. The top can also be used as a stand alone down comforter. Underneath a pad skirt keeps your pad in place. It is 46″ x 82″ and weighs 4 lbs, 11 oz.
The Versa Blanket is made from Klymalite synthetic loft insulation with a 20D polyester shell. It incorporates corner hand pockets so you can wrap yourself up and there’s a footbox to keep your feet cozy. Corner snaps keep the blanket around your shoulders. It is 58″ x 80″ and weighs 28 oz.
Both items are coming in March, from www.klymit.com.
The big story for Klymit's Armored V Sleeping Pad is that one side features 100D nylon with SuperFabric in order to repel tears and holes caused by even the most challenging terrain.
The top side is made from 50D stretch. The Armored V weighs 2.4 lbs and is 23"x72"x2.5", offering 1.6 R value.
Although it might seem counterintuitive, adding a sleeping pad to a hammock has merit. For instance, it’s cold outside, or you’ve got the lumbago and need a little extra support. Another reason might be that you want a little more structure for your hammock. No matter the reason, Klymit has the answer with a model designed specifically for use in a hammock.

Coming Spring 2017 from www.klymit.com.
Klymit has introduced King’s Desert Camo pattern as an option for their sleeping pads.
We’ve been writing about Klymit since the very beginning and this newest project, utilizing their Nobletek insulation draws straight from those roots.
Launched recently on Kickstarter, the Ulaar jacket features a body chambered, baffle torso for the NobleTek. Their VWT (Variable Warmth Technology) utilizes stable Argon gas as insulation. Based on conditions you fill the chambers as much as you need to stay comfortable.
the Ulaar incorporates a Low Friction 50D Polyester Shell combined with a Bamboo Charcoal Impregnated Liner as well as Welded Arm Pockets. Sized XSmall – XXXLarge, learn more at www.kickstarter.com/projects/2075028552/ulaar-jacket
See that? It’s an inflatable frame sheet.
Here it is mounted in a Cilo Gear pack. It’s designed to take the place of traditional HDPE and aluminum stay combo frame sheets. Not only does it provide some padding, but it also provides rigidity. It has a positive correlation with the load meaning, the more you put into your pack (up to 40 lbs) the more it compresses the frame sheet and the more rigid it becomes. It can bend 35-38 degrees before it impinges making it comfortable in a wider variety of positions.
Inflated with air rather than Noble-tek, it features an inflation valve which accepts a hand pump or the sheet can be orally inflated as well. It’s already in one climbing pack and Cilo Gear is converting soon.
Through January 10th Extreme Outfitters is running a phenomenal special on all Klymit Sleeping Pads – 25% OFF retail. It’s important to note that the Klymit pads in the Coyote color would not have been possible if Extreme Outfitters hadn’t placed a stocking order.
