Midwest Industries and US PALM Collaborate on Optics Compatible AK Fore End Covers- Updated

Midwest Industries and US PALM have collaborated on a new series of top covers for the fore ends of AK family weapons. They are specifically designed to mount optics with the first dedicated to the Aimpoint T/H 1 series. This model allows for a lower 1/3 co-witness with your stock sights. Since they won’t start showing up until October this is really just a sneak peek. Five different models will be available this Fall.

UPDATE – The part will be sold as a retro fit [top cover only] for existing MI rail owners, as well as a in complete kit form. It also uses stock gas tube.

AK30 Kydex Magazine Holster

Now US PALM offers a kydex holder for their popular AK30 magazine. This is a welcome addition to their other carry option, a tactical rig called the Defender. It comes with a belt clip and is adjustable for tension.

M14 Riser Stock Pouch

Tired of seeing Soldiers attaching pillows with 100 mph tape to the back of their stocks to get proper cheek welds, Tactical Night Vision Company teamed with US PALM to develop the M14 Riser Stock Pouch. Since not everyone in the military gets issued an adjustable stock, let alone most of the LE and commercial markets, TNVC contacted US PALM with their tactical nylon expertise, and the project was kicked into high gear. The RSP© Mod.0 is designed to fit the M14 as well as the M1A and easily attaches to these stocks to provide the shooter with a stable, optimum comb height. It also includes a built-in horizontal magazine pouch that holds a single USGI 20rd M14 magazine as well as a fast-access clear sleeve pocket for DOPE/Range cards and/or target photos. The RSP© Mod.0 is the first in a series of Riser Stock Pouches and new models for other platforms will be forthcoming. Naturally, the RSP© is made in the US from 500d Cordura.

AK Battle Grip

US PALM will be releasing the new AK Battle grip in just a few short weeks. Here are some new details to help tide you over while you wait.

AK Battle Grip from US PALM

Initially, they will be available in Black, FDE, and a special request for a Brown/Bakelite-ish color. The photo depicts the US PALM logo and a few OEM makers have already requested their logo which is only available on the left side of the grip. A modified version of the highly successful TangoDown Battle Grip, the angle on the new AK variant really drives your hand up into the grip/receiver junction, unlike the original Soviet design that almost does the opposite. Additionally, the “fill” of the gap between the grip and the trigger-guard makes for a happy ring-finger.

The Tactical .22 1911 from US PALM

A .22 1911…sacrilege, you say? Well they’ve been around awhile, just no one has done one quite like this. The Tactical 22 is available in two flavors. Shown is the version with a Picatinny rail along the top of the slide and there is also a model with adjustable sights.

The Tactical 22 is built on a Caspian frame with an integral tactical light rail and flared magazine well. The upper crafted by Marvel Custom, features a match grade barrel threaded ½-28 with cap. The grips are Mil-Tac G10 laminate and each pistol comes with two 10-round magazines.

Available from www.SGCUSA.com in very limited quanities. Pistol is only available to qualified buyers and must be transferred through a licensed FFL holder.
