Blade Show 2015 – EJ Snyder / TOPS Knives

EJ Snyder, Retired Army NCO, SERE School Instructor and star of Discovery Channel’s ‘Naked and Afraid’ displayed his “Skullcrusher’s Xtreme Blade” (SXB) made by TOPS Knives. Seen below is the test model EJ has been putting through the paces. Hopefully, we’ll see it in his upcoming solo show slated for this summer.

Wolfhawk – The Knife That Mounts On Your Rifle

Normally, a knife that mounts on your rifle its called a bayonet, unless it’s the Wolfhawk. A joint venture between Battle Blades and TOPS Knives, the Wolfhawk series utilizes a sheath that incorporates a Mil Std 1913 rail compatible mount.

Offered in two blade (Hunter and Tanto) and two handle (micarta and paracord) versions, it features a 3-1/4″ blade made from 1095 High Carbon steel (RC 56-58).

When I see things like this that are done simply because they can be, I fear we have invented everything.

EcoHawk

Designed by Mike “Vec” Gapp and manufactured by TOPS Knives, the EcoHawk is an innovative take on a hawk. Designed as a versatile combination of handheld knife and handle-bourne hawk, it is designed to allow you to affix the head to an appropriate handle when needed. This is a great tool for addition in a survival kit due to its versatility. In fact, it is offered as a kit that includes a Lansky sharpener, saw, whistle, magnesium fire starter, and paracord which can be used to lash it to a handle or for other survival needs.

The EcoHawk is a Tachackers dream. Not only can it be adapted to a variety of uses but the designer encourages users to modify the blade to suit their particular needs. Manufactured from 1075 steel, this can be difficult, but is possible, prior to deployment.

Haket from TOPS Knives

TOPS Knives has released the Haket which stands for Hatchet and Knife Emergency Tool. The unique blade is manufactured from 1095 steel and features a hatchet blade on one and and a knife blade on the other. The blade fits into a slot on the hollow chrome-moly handle in two fashions. It can be mounted as a traditional hatchet or in spear fashion and in both cases the blade is held fast with a special bolt fixture. Additionally, the hollow handle accommodates a variety of survival items. Look for additional blades in the future. The Haket comes with a nylon sheath.

TOPS Knives Survival Neck Wallet
