SIGStore

NEWINGTON, N.H. (July 31, 2014) — SIG SAUER® has launched a redesigned webstore, offering an expanded selection of SIG SAUER branded clothing, merchandise, accessories, and a new line of Mitch Rosen designed holsters.

The SIG SAUER webstore has always been the premier online resource for factory parts and accessories. Now fans can show their affinity for the SIG SAUER brand with a selection of men’s and women’s shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and drinkware.

“SIG SAUER owners are passionate about their firearms,” said Jeff Creamer, SIG SAUER Executive Director and Chief Merchandise Manager. “Now they can show that passion with products that fit the SIG SAUER brand.”

In addition to new clothing, SIG SAUER has partnered with Mitch Rosen Extraordinary Gunleather to provide a line of SIG SAUER-specific holsters, including hard-to-find holsters for handguns such as the SP2022®, 1911, P320, P250® and P290®. Right- and left-hand models are available in most patterns.

“Mitch Rosen is one of the top holster manufacturers out there, and we’re excited to offer these products,” Creamer said.

While many of the products in the webstore are new, Creamer said they are just the beginning.

“Expect to see more and more products being added in the future,” he said. “We’re working with some of the best clothing and accessory manufacturers to develop some really cool items.”

Edit: SIG Sauer has revised their shipping rates for SIG apparel. They’ll be cutting shipping to $9.95 and offering free shipping on all order $100 or more.

RAND CLP

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014

20140730-114135.jpg

RAND CLP is an eco-friendly CLP that utilizes a vegetable oil base and a proprietary blend of nano-particles which are designed to work into the metal of a firearm and form a shield against rust, carbon, and dirt. The vegetable oil component “lifts” carbon and fouling from the metal which allows for easier cleaning. It is non-toxic, odorless, and is designed to be safe on all metals, polymers, and woods. Also worth mentioning is that RAND CLP is approved by Viking Tactics.

We received a few samples and will be trying them out soon.

Available in 2oz and 4oz bottles, and single use ‘rip & drip’ packs.

The Zev Technologies Experience – Parts Selection

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014

SoliderSystems-Parts-3

In this second installment of our ongoing series demonstrating what it’s like to send your GLOCK in to have some work done by the folks at Zev Technologies. Last week, our Gen 3 G17 was checked in and a work order created. Now, they’ve selected the parts that will be used in this upgrade and placed them in the bin with the pistol to await farther work, later this week.

SoliderSystems-Parts-2

They’ve revealed to us that they’ll be replacing the following GLOCK factory parts with their Zev Technologies models.

Factory trigger group – Fulcrum Trigger

20140729-200709-72429873.jpg
CNC Billet Aluminum trigger pad has an ergonomic shape with a wide flat face that is ideal for shooting with the pad of your trigger finger as opposed to the rounded face of the factory trigger. The trigger safety of the Fulcrum is 3x wider and more flush when depressed. Adjustable for pre and over travel. Offered in three different kit forms for the DIYer with six different color options seen above.

Factory Magazine Release – Extended Mag Release

20140729-202341-73421426.jpg
CNC milled from aircraft grade aluminum and then hard anodized, it’s large enough that you can hit the magazine release without changing your grip. Available in Black or Silver.

Factory Slide lock lever – Extended Titanium Slide Lock

The Extended Titanium Slide Lock Bar locks up the slide tighter than the factory part, yet is easier to remove slide for cleaning and maintenance of your Glock.

Factory Sights – Combat Fiber Optic Sight Set

20140729-202834-73714425.jpg
Consisting of front and rear pairs, the sights are machined from 304 billet stainless steel with black oxide finish. A wide .140″ race cut rear notch is matched with a narrow .105″ wide front sight for fast sight picture. Serrated to reduce reflection and glare. Front sight includes both a Red and Green fiber rod (Red rod comes pre-installed).

We are looking forward to seeing what’s next.

Armageddon Gear – Suppressor Mirage Cover

Wednesday, July 30th, 2014

atacs_fg_armageddon_gear_IMG_9033

Armageddon Gear’s Suppressor Mirage Cover is designed to significantly reduce and delay the effects of suppressor mirage on the rifleman’s ability to identify and engage their target. A highly secure design stays in place during vigorous movement, however with the use of an integrated shock-cord it can also be adjusted or removed in seconds. The design insures that the outer Cordura nylon shell does not make contact with the hot suppressor during use. Note that the Suppressor Mirage Cover is not rated for use on fully-automatic weapons.

Available in A-TACS AU, A-TACS FG, Black, Coyote Brown, Foliage Green, MultiCam, and Ranger Green. Additionally, the Suppressor Mirage Cover can be ordered in custom sizes.
