While we were at OR, we spotted this vest over at the GoPro booth. After a bit of digging, we found out it’s mostly likely White River Fly Shop’s HEAT Tactical MOLLE-Style Fishing Vest. It’s pretty interesting to see how PALS and MOLLE has been adopted by the outdoor industry. Here’s some info on the vest:
The HEAT Tactical MOLLE-Style Fishing Vest utilizes PALS-style webbing for modularity. A zippered rear pocket allows for storage and also features webbing for additional modularity. Additional features include hook and loop attachment points for fly patches and adjustable padded shoulder straps. Mesh throughout helps with temperature regulation when worn.
Although you can use any PALS-compatible pouches with the vest, White River has produced their own line of load carrying pouches and accessories, including a water bottle/staff pouch, medium fly box pocket, and universal pistol holster.
