Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018The PTX ABC-812 Adaptive Battery Charger is the lightweight, flexible, intelligent, bulk battery charger built for rugged field use.
Like all PTX Power management systems, the Adaptive Battery Charger can draw power from any source. Unlike our other systems, it has been specifically optimized as a bulk battery charger that charge multiple different types of batteries at the same time – from the same power source. Due to its intelligent power management system, the ABC-812 automatically evaluates the power source and adjusts its output to maximize charge rate and minimize charge time.
The ABC also prioritizes charging, so that the fullest battery is charged first – enabling the user to get back in operation as soon as possible with at least one fully charged battery. Its built-in intelligence also prevents it from completely draining a vehicle battery when in scavenge mode – so you’re left stuck with a dead battery.

FBI Awards Contract for up to $19 Million of Specifically Designed Federal Premium Training Ammunition
Tuesday, May 1st, 2018ANOKA, Minnesota – April 26, 2018 – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has awarded Vista Outdoor a contract to supply FBI and other Federal Government Agencies with a high-performance Federal Premium 9mm handgun training round specifically designed to support their mission.
The IDIQ (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) contract, which has four option years, is for up to $19 million in 9mm handgun training rounds. This ammunition is built distinctively to FBI’s specifications using Federal Premium’s precision manufacturing and testing methods, innovative technology, and industry-leading components.

Rockwell Tactical Group Tactical Trauma Care Course Now Approved for Pennsylvania EMS Eight Clinical Patient Care Hours
Tuesday, May 1st, 2018Hershey, PA – April 30, 2018 – Rockwell Tactical Group (RTG) is proud to announce its Tactical Trauma Care course is now approved for clinical patient care hours by the Pennsylvania Department of Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). RTG, Pennsylvania’s top training group, is recognized nationwide for its principle-based firearms training capabilities and instructor knowledge and experience.
“We’re truly honored by the trust the State has put in Rockwell Tactical to best prepare its law enforcement officers for duty,” said Jared Ross, owner, Rockwell Tactical Group. “All of our instructors are veteran or active duty military and law enforcement officers. We provide the same level of expert training that we learned from and used while operating and training in the US and around the world.”
The RTG Tactical Trauma Care course was created by a Special Operations Combat Medic and a former Greenside Navy Corpsman, now New York City Paramedic. The course will teach basic trauma management using the MARCH Protocol, different than standard EMS. The course is hands-on and concludes by giving each student a practical exercise. The course will cover management of the following topics in a tactical setting:
• Massive bleeding
• Airway
• Respiration
• Circulation
• Hypothermia
• Patient stabilization
