MultiCam to Highlight Strategic Partnerships at 2019 SHOT Show

Friday, January 18th, 2019

Brooklyn, NY – MultiCam®, the combat-proven, complete family of concealment solutions for those who demand the best, has announced that it will be highlighting some of their major strategic partnerships, to include Cerakote, IMP Anodizing, Index Fasteners and Flexfit®, at their MultiCam® Alpine vinyl wrapped booth (#32408) at the 2019 SHOT Show, in Las Vegas, held January 22nd-25th.

Throughout the show, Cerakote and MultiCam® will be unveiling their upcoming 2019 partnership plans.  Cerakote, the industry leader in thin-film ceramic coatings that caters heavily to the gun decoration market, has been working closely with MultiCam, to develop a library of approved colors and stencil kits for each of the variants of the MultiCam patterns.  To highlight the progress, three Noveske rifles, which will be part of the Crye Precision Charity Auction, will be on display at the booth.

IMP Anodizing is the official anodizer for aluminum in MultiCam®, using a process called Permodize®. The agreement between the two companies is structured so that OEM’s are able to have their products, (rails, uppers, lowers, knives, multi-tools, lights, etc.) anodized in the internationally popular pattern at IMP. To showcase the work, MultiCam® will have Gerber’s 06 Auto, Covert Auto and Mini Covert Auto knives in the anodized MultiCam® and the upcoming MultiCam® Arid patterns on display at their booth.

MultiCam®’s strategic fabric partner, 1947 LLC, will be debuting 19 new fabrics this year. The range of fabrics expands the already large offering from 1947, and will give even more options for apparel and gear manufacturers to create quality MultiCam products.

Flexfit®, one of the world’s largest manufacturer of custom, private label headwear, will be expanding their MultiCam offering on their leading Flexfit® and Snapback styles. In addition to the highly popular MultiCam and MultiCam Black styles, samples of the upcoming Alpine and Tropic hats will be on display. Flexfit representatives will also be available to answer any questions. In addition, the company will be accepting $20 donations for their adjustable MultiCam® Black mesh hats.

MultiCam® is also showcasing their partnership with Index Fasteners Inc, a leader in the Wholesale Fastener Industry to serve as the only kydex supplier to be licensed to print MultiCam® onto kydex for the holster/sheath markets. MultiCam® and MultiCam® Black holsters; mag pouches and sheaths from ANR Design will be on display during the show.

In addition to the booth display, attendees will also be able to contribute to their favorite military charities through the annual Crye Precision Charity Auction, which will be hosted at the MultiCam booth.  Items up for auction will include: rifles from Noveske and Tikka, and a pistol from Salient Arms International. All proceeds will benefit Special Operations charities.

Grey Ghost Precision Releases V3 & V4 GLOCK Slides

Friday, January 18th, 2019

Wallace, ID – Grey Ghost Precision, leading manufacturers of accurate, reliable, and attainable weapon systems, is excited to announce the release of their newest aftermarket upgrades to their GLOCK slide product line, for the GGP-17 and GGP-19.

The new additions, the V3 and V4, share the same precision engineering and tightened critical tolerances of their predecessors the V1 and V2, while featuring a first-ever hybrid MRDS cut, a modified optic footprint that allows for mounting of the Trijicon RMR or the slightly larger Leupold DeltaPoint Pro.

Through careful engineering and research, the team at GGP recognized that the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and Trijicon RMR share a similar front profile without the bolt patterns intersecting one another. The primary difference in the footprints being their overall length; GGP resolved this with an aluminum shim plate for use with the shorter RMR; resulting in a dual-compatibility right out of the box, without the need for bulky adapter plates that raise the optic above the bore axis.

The aesthetic of new patterns on the V3 and V4 are worth attention as well. The depth of the serrations on the GGP V3 taper inwards as the cut moves up the slide, providing the shooter with a more aggressive grip near the top of the slide for press checks and malfunction clearing drills. The top of the V3 is designed with shallow cuts that also aid in press checks, while mimicking the design on top of the GGP GLOCK Barrels.

The design of the V4 slides is a studded micro-scale texture that provides an unmatched level of frictional grip in any direction of pull. Reminiscent of the V2 slide with “geoscales,” this pattern is smaller and provides a much higher level of frictional grip than those of traditional serrations. The V4 is equipped with a top window cutout for weight balance.

V3/V4 SPECS

-Machined from 17-4 Billet Stainless Steel for tighter-than-factory-tolerances

-Black Nitride coated inside and out for superior corrosion resistance

-Dual compatibility with Leupold DPP and Trijicon RMR with supplied screws and shim plate

-V3 Slide Pattern with tapered depth serrations for varying aggressiveness from top to bottom

-V4 Slide Pattern with studded micro-scales for enhanced frictional grip

-Available for Gen 3 or Gen 4 G19 compatible frames

The Grey Ghost Precision V3 and V4 are available for pre-order now for February delivery.

Visit www.greyghostprecision.com for more details.

The team will also be on hand at the Grey Ghost Precision booth (#4366) during the 2019 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, held January 22-25th.

American Defense Mfg Launches Titanium Products

Friday, January 18th, 2019

New Berlin, WI. January 2019 – American Defense Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer in high quality, high performance firearms and accessory mounts, is pleased to announce the introduction of Titanium in its mounts and lever assembly.

ADM has gained the capability of investment casting or Metal Injection Molding(MIM) titanium. For years, manufacturers in the firearms industry have tried to use titanium but was never done properly. It typically starts with a block of very expensive titanium that is machined down to the final part. Because it is harder than aluminum, it requires more machine time (labor), more tool wear and replacement, and worst of all, it leaves most of this expensive titanium on the shop floor, unused.

For 2019, ADM will be transitioning all of its mounts that include an aluminum/steel QD Autolock assembly to a full 6-4 aerospace titanium lever assembly. Benefits for this upgrade include:

• 59.9% lighter than current lever system

• Cross bolt thread strength increases to over 1,800 lbs. compared to 900 lbs. for steel.

• 63% lower thermal expansion/movement (less optical shift).

In addition to the titanium lever assembly,

ADM will begin producing several of its

popular mounts in full 6-4 aerospace

titanium. These mounts include ADM’s

Delta and Recon 30 mm, one-piece,

cantilevered scope mounts, the 170 and 170s mounts for the Surefire® Scout Lights, as well as low, co- witness, and lower 1/3 co-witness mounts for the Aimpoint® T1 and Trijicon® MRO red dot sights. These mounts have been skeletonized to significantly reduce overall weight, sometimes by up to 50%, and are the best solution for optics due to its superior thermal performance over aluminum.

“We are extremely proud and excited to begin incorporating titanium into our products. Our plans are not only to broaden our product offerings in the future, but to also act as an OEM by providing our titanium capabilities and services to other manufacturers in the industry who want to benefit from the advantages of titanium”, said John Gross, Chief Operating Officer for American Defense Manufacturing. “The firearms industry is driven by reductions in Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) and titanium, when used properly, can achieve significant results in these categories”.

Aluminum mounts with titanium lever assemblies are scheduled to begin product in March of 2019 and full titanium mounts are scheduled to begin production in April/May of 2019.
