The Vulcano from Italian boot maker Naglev is described as a speed hiker, combing the stability of a hiking boot with the agility of a trail runner.
The secret is apparently the rather prominent single piece of wrap-around Kevlar, even around the outsole. It also features integrated cable lacing, a wicking Lycra liner, a midsole and footbed that molds to your foot over time for a custom fit, and a natural rubber compound outsole.
The Vulcano uses European sizing and is available exclusively from Huckberry.
