Tac-Up BV – Tactical Chainsaw

Tac-Up BV is a company based in the Netherlands formed by ex-SOF and SWAT personnel. They’ve developed the Tacical Chainsaw, a powerful and versatile breaching tool which can cut through a wide range of materials including armored glass, steel, stone, and more. The Tactical Chainsaw uses a special chain with a Wolfram carbide hard metal coating, and the blade can be adjusted with an included depth limiter. Also included with the Tactical Chainsaw is a tactical light, heavy duty protection plate, and a non-reflecting “urban grey” coating. SOMA – Atlas Devices

The Atlas Tactical Ladder system can be used as a Ladder, Litter and Bridge. Because it is collapsible, it can be jumped and you only need to carry the sections you require. The sections are removable and you can add sections to the 7′ standard length to bring it out to 15′. It has a 350 lbs rating with a 2:1 safety factory, and that’s in the bridge mode!

In addition to integrated handholds the ATL RACC also has an integrated patient packaging harness and vertical/horizontal hoisting bridle.

The multi handle autolocks into various positions and can be used as a pool hook while in the Ladder mode or an offset handle in the Litter mode. You can also turn the litter into a table to get your patient off of the ground or to elevate head or feet.

The ATL RACC can be carried on the MSIG pack we showed you last year via speed clips. However, you can use the MSIG frame to package your patient’s torso and head.

Gerber Gear – Ding Dong Breaching Tool

Gerber Gear’s Ding Dong breaching tool is now available for 2014. Combining a sledgehammer, battering ram, and pry bar into a single breaching tool, the Ding Dong features a forged and machined head with cross-hatching that effectively bites into doors and other surfaces, minimizing slip and maximizing impact. The fiberglass handle features two equally spaced molded rings to create mechanical stops for the operator’s hands, and the enlarged pry bar end is perfect for wedging into door frames. The Ding Dong comes with a MOLLE compatible fiberglass plate on which the tool mechanically snaps and is held by a quick-detach heavy rubber strap.
