Team MultiCam Video Series: Kyle Defoor

The next installment of the Team MultiCam Video Series highlights Naval Special Operations veteran Kyle Defoor. Words like dedication, discipline, precision and drive personify Kyle. He honored our country post 9/11 as a sniper on SEAL Team 8. Since retiring, Kyle created Defoor Proformance Shooting where he teaches various shooting techniques to military, law enforcement and civilians. He is truly thankful for what the Navy gave him.

To give back, he has been raising money through his GoFundMe page for the Navy SEAL Foundation who provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families. NHA-001 Auction For SOC-F

Nighthawk, Agency Arms, Railscales, Cerakote, and Hillbilly 223 have all come together to release an incredible gun at the NRAAM this year. The very first gun of this limited 50 gun run is being auctioned on Gunbroker to raise money for SOC-F.

The Special Operations Care Fund (SOCF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, 100% volunteer, charitable organization that strives to generate funds for the families of wounded or killed Special Operations Forces (SOF). Via our events, we will connect generous people with the SOF community.

Since 2003, AmericanSnipers.org has been providing specialized equipment support to military sniper teams. While they sponsor the occassional raffle, much of their funding comes from direct donations. In years past, they would raise quite a bit of money at SHOT Show through the sales of coins, patches and other memorabilia, but SHOT Show has stopped the practice. There’s essentially no overhead with this 501(c)3 Nonprofit with donations used to buy the gear the guys need. Now, with donations down, members of the organization are dipping into their own pockets to support units. Soon, AS.org may have to do something it’s never done before, and that’s say, “No” to a unit requesting help. Please, help out. MG Trombitas Takes Command as Chairman, Green Beret Foundation

SAN ANTONIO, April 6, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The GBF Board of Directors has elected retired Green Beret and Special Operations Commander, Maj. Gen. Simeon Trombitas as Chairman.

Upon assuming this position, General Trombitas pointed out that “The challenges we face to ensure support of the Green Beret community are enormous. Today U.S. Special Forces have the highest per-capita casualty rate of any unit in the Special Operations Forces. Although U.S. Army involvement in the 15-year ongoing ground wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has decreased, the worldwide demand for Green Berets is on the rise. I’ve been working in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Our guys are engaged all over the world. The Green Berets’ resolve to support this country is unparalleled. Major General Simeon G. Trombitas graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1978. He began his active duty career in the 2nd Armored Division and went on to serve three tours with 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). His other Commands included Assistant Deputy Director for Operations of United States Army Special Operations Command and Commander, U.S. Army Garrison, 7th Infantry Division. The General’s duty assignments as a general officer were as Commanding General of Special Operations Command, Korea, Iraq National Counter-Terrorism Force Transition Team during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Special Assistant to the Commanding General, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and Commanding General of United States Army South. His final position upon retirement in 2015 was Senior Defense Official / Defense Attache? at U.S. Embassy, Mexico.
