Warrior East Sneak Peek – Outdoor Research Releases New Jungle Uniforms: Muzzle Brake & Breech

Make sure you stop by OR’s booth in order to check out the new Muzzle Brake and Breech jungle uniforms available For order, starting today.

Both use OR’s Hybrid Mapped design technology and incorporate Insect Shield protection. The pocket are low profile in order to be used in conjunction with armor and packs. However, the Muzzle Brake is made from WL Gore’s new “jungle” fabric that we told you about during SOFIC, with knit stretch panels at the wrists, underarm, crotch and back yoke while the Breech is made from a stretchy spandex/nylon blend fabric reinforced with Superfabric at the elbows, knees and seat. Additionally, the Muzzle Brake is a more traditional blouse and trouser design whereas the Breech consists of a long sleeved shirt and trouser. Both are currently available in MultiCam but I have also seen a MARPAT Woodland variant of the Muzzle Brake.

I first discovered TASC Performance garments in early 2012 and I’ve been wearing them ever since. In fact, although I do own a couple of pairs of Merino Wool next-to-skin layers, TASC Boxer Briefs are my preferred daily wear. They are extremely comfortable and feature a flowmesh panel at the front.

Made from 55% Organic Cotton/40% Viscose from Bamboo/5% Lycra Spandex the Boxer Briefs are offered in sizes Small – XXLarge in White, Black, Heather Grey and Kryptonite.

Back By Popular Demand: Arc’teryx LEAF Sphinx Pant

Amswering the call from a Government customer, Arc’teryx has produced a limited run of the ever propular MultiCam Sphinx Pants to tide them over until a replacement is unveiled.

This run will be limited to 500 pairs, and will be available just in time for end-of-year purchasing. This run of Sphinx pants will be produced to the same specs as the originals, made of the same fabrics and including the original feature set.

Something Wicked Cool This Way Comes – Get Ready for the MultiCam Force 10 Pants from Triple Aught Design

Hold on to your wallets ladies and gentlemen, it’s happening. Triple Aught Design is poised to launch the MultiCam version of the Force 10 pant we told you about during last month’s Blade Show.

Made from genuine MultiCam print 50/50 NYCO fabric in the classic Force 10 design.

Features:

Ample Storage: Eight pockets provide ample storage, including two hidden Passport Pockets to hold personal documents discretely. Internal pocket dividers in the cargo pockets secure spare magazines, radios, flashlights, or other gear. Pass-through slots on the cargo flaps accommodate longer items and provide access to strategically placed D-rings for dummy cording gear.

Repairable: Our Canadian tape style buttons are secured on nylon webbing with bartacks for greater staying power and we include a slotted repair button that quickly slides onto the webbing for easy repair in the field.

Versatile Design: The cargo pockets lay flat creating a streamlined look and incorporate bellowed design allowing for expanded storage space. We created a slide-through slot at the top of the pocket to allow for quick and easy access to linear shaped items like a long flashlight or ruler.

Added Protection: Inserts at the knees accommodate T-Pro Armor Pads for increased protection and less strain on your body.

These launch tomorrow, Thursday, 20150702, at 0900 Pacific. Just in time for Independence Day. They’ll be available then, on the Force 10 page. TAD hasn’t offered MutiCam in years so please note that the pricing of the MultiCam pants will be $140. This is a bit higher than the solid colors and that’s due to material costs.
