New Models for SIG P365/P365XL, Glock 48, S&W EZ 9mm/.380 Auto, Springfield Hellcat

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – November 1, 2020 – Blackhawk™, a leader in law enforcement and military equipment for over 20 years, announced today the addition of new SERPA® CQC concealment holsters for the SIG SAUER P365/P365XL, Glock 48, Smith & Wesson M&P Shield EZ 9mm/.380 Auto and Springfield Hellcat pistols.

The SERPA CQC concealment holster line is one of the most popular platforms for law enforcement officers, military personnel and responsible citizens. The new models are available in a right-hand configuration with a matte finish.

With their unique speed cut design, Blackhawk SERPA CQC concealment holsters have earned a strong reputation for a fast, smooth draw and easy, solid re-holster without slowing the user down.

For the ultimate in handgun security, Blackhawk SERPA CQC concealment holsters feature a passive retention detent adjustment screw and the patented SERPA Auto-Lock™ release, which offers Level 2 retention and reinforces a full master grip that allows users to draw normally with the index finder sliding from the holster body to the pistol frame in one single movement. Upon re-holstering the firearm, the Auto-Lock immediately engages the trigger guard with an audible click that won’t let go until released.

A belt loop and paddle platform are included. SERPA CQC concealment holsters also fit shoulder, S.T.R.I.K.E.®, quick disconnect and tactical holster platforms, making them extremely versatile.

Comp-Tac Releases New Holster in Blue Duty Series

Thursday, October 1st, 2020

HOUSTON – Sept. 30, 2020 – Comp-Tac® released a new version of its Blue Duty Holster for guns without light attachments, the Blue Duty – No Light.

This new addition to the Blue Duty Holster Series™ includes many of the same key features as the rest of the series, such as adjustable tension via a retention screw, up to 16 different mounting configurations with the three-piece International Mount Kit, and level-two retention with the spring-loaded, thumb activated bale. This holster is intended for officers or other users who want a level-two retention holster in a smaller footprint than the original two Blue Duty variants.

Comp-Tac® developed this series with direct input from the law enforcement community such as the LAPD. The Blue Duty Holster Series features two additional variants for guns with light attachments, an optic covered version for extra protection and an optic uncovered version for smaller footprint.

“The Blue Duty Holster Series, complete with level-two retention, has had major growth since its release in January,” noted Gordon Carrell, Comp-Tac general manager. “As more customers come across it, we have gotten a significant number of requests for additional make and model fits, additional lights, as well as a fit that did not need a light attached to the firearm. The Blue Duty – No Light is a great option for customers who are looking for the level-two retention with a red-dot optic and not the added cost of a light/laser that does not fit their purpose. The smaller footprint and modular mounting system give this holster added flexibility for law enforcement, military or the general public.”

Sneak Peek – Blackhawk T-Series L2C Overt

Friday, September 25th, 2020

Coming soon from Blackhawk is the T-series L2C Overt. Based on the L2C (Level 2 Compact) OWB holster, it’s a T-series holster which uses Blackhawk’s Master Grip Principle. As you grip the pistol in your draw stroke, your thumb depresses the holster release mechanism.

It’s also inherently optic friendly, thanks to the speed cut at the front of the holster. However, as you can see, there’s no shroud to protect the optic.

The L2C Overt is a great option if you don’t need level 3 retention and are looking for a low profile holster for training or daily use.

Naturally, just like there is a light bearing (TLR-7 and 8) version of the L2C, there will be a light bearing version of the overt.

Although the L2C Overt hasn’t been released yet, you can roll your own. You’ll just need to pick up the T-Series Jacket Slot Belt Loop and T-Series Jacket Slot Leg Strap Adapter. It’s a simple install.

Comp-Tac Releases Holster Fits for Glock .40 Gen 5s

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020

HOUSTON, Sept. 21, 2020 – Comp-Tac® added new Glock® .40 Gen 5 fits for the Infidel Max™, Infidel Ultra Max™, Warrior™, International™ and Blue Duty Holster Series™ approximately two weeks prior to the launch of these new firearms.

In addition to the fits already available, Comp-Tac plans to eventually expand every holster offering to accommodate the wider bodies of the .40 Gen 5s.

New holster fits include:
• G27- International, Infidel Ultra Max, Infidel Max, eV2
• G23- International, Infidel Ultra Max, Infidel Max
• G22- International, Warrior, Blue Duty – No Light

“Being able to work with firearms manufacturers during the release of new weapons is a real honor for Comp-Tac,” said Gordon Carrell, Comp-Tac general manager. “The new Glock Gen 5 .40 caliber guns have a slightly wider frame than the previous generations and Comp-Tac has been able to design holsters to fit these new guns in a short period of time. Because of that, these new holsters will be ready for purchase before these new Glocks are even available, allowing customers to carry those firearms right away.”

The International Holster is an OWB, all-Kydex® holster with a modular mounting system that includes a belt mount, paddle mount and drop offset piece. The International has been the top holster used at the IDPA nationals for eight years in a row and is an excellent choice for those who want to participate in competitive shooting events or head to the range for some training time.

The Infidel Ultra Max Holster is an IWB, Kydex-and-leather hybrid holster designed for concealed carry. The Infidel Ultra Max is designed with cant adjustment holes to allow the user to change from a reverse cant, straight drop speed cant and FBI forward cant. The Infidel Ultra Max’s top-grain, cowhide leather backing is the most comfortable material to wear against your skin. It provides a soft, flexible material that does not rub or pinch.

The Infidel Max Holster is an all-Kydex inside-the-waistband holster designed to be worn behind the hip at the 4 o’clock or 5 o’clock positions. With an easy-on, easy-off single clip, this holster is a favorite for users who want the ability to put on their gun or take it off as their environment changes.

The eV2 Holster is an appendix IWB holster designed for concealed carry. The eV2 includes the Comp-Tac Kick, a piece designed to help press the grip of the gun into the body for better concealment.

The Warrior Holster is an outside-the-waistband holster that was recently tested and recommended by the National Training Officers Association (NTOA). The all-Kydex, pancake design is excellent for concealed carry or general range use.

The Blue Duty Holster Series no light version is a level two outside the waistband holster. The Blue Duty Optic no light will accommodate a firearm with a red-dot optic attached. With a belt mount, paddle mount and drop offset, this holster provides a high level of diversity and compatibility with level two retention.

Friday, August 28th, 2020

HOUSTON, Aug. 21, 2020 – Comp-Tac® recently added new Smith & Wesson® M&P® 9 Shield™ EZ® fits for the MTAC™, Infidel Max™, Warrior™, eV2™ and International™ holsters.

These five holsters rank among Comp-Tac’s most popular items. The brand periodically releases new holster fits throughout the year to accommodate more and more gun owners, and to match the ever-growing firearms market.

The International Holster is an all-Kydex holster with a modular mounting system that includes a belt mount, paddle mount and drop offset piece. New Level 2 Light Bearing Holsters Compatible with SIG SAUER P320

VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – August 4, 2020 – Blackhawk, a leader in law enforcement and military equipment for over 20 years, announced today that it has added new Level 2 Duty (L2D) Light Bearing holsters compatible with the SIG SAUER P320 to the T-Series Red Dot Sight (RDS) Holster line. The new holsters were engineered specifically to accommodate red dot sights when mounted on SIG P320 pistols.

The new dual-injected molded holsters are available in left and right-hand configurations and feature a removable, rotating dust cover that protects the optic from impacts and debris. The T-Series RDS holsters can be used with the Trijicon RMR/SRO, Leupold Delta Point Pro, SIG Romeo1Pro, plus other similar sized optics. The SIG P320 pistol is kept secure in a durable polymer body that provides users with a sleek, ergonomic design without adding extra bulk to the holster.

As the world’s first thumb driven, dual-injected molded holster, each T-Series RDS holster is standard with a soft touch inner layer that is both super slick and sound-dampening. This durable and efficient, low-friction design translates into a smooth, quiet draw or re-holstering of the sidearm.

Designed to follow Blackhawk’s Master Grip Principle, all T-Series holsters have been specifically developed to allow the user’s hand to land naturally where it should in order to deploy the sidearm. The T-Series RDS L2D and Level 3 Duty (L3D) holsters are designed for use with the Streamlight TLR-1 and TLR-2 pistol lights.
