Sunday, July 25th, 2021

WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – July 21, 2021 – Savage Arms is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP), a nonprofit dedicated to guaranteeing all Americans quality places to hunt and fish. As part of the new partnership, Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms, and Robert Gates, Vice President of Sales, will serve on TRCP’s Corporate Council.

“TRCP’s mission dovetails perfectly with Savage’s commitment to American sportsmen and women,” Shimanski said. “Savage continues to lead the industry in innovative new firearms that are designed and built for hunters and all shooters, but we wouldn’t exist without the efforts of conservation groups like TRCP that keep the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt’s preservation efforts alive. Brownells Donates more than $150,000 to Firearms Policy Foundation
GRINNELL, Iowa (July 20, 2021) –  Brownells donated more than $150,000 to the Firearms Policy Foundation, with money generated by the “Made in America” promotion at Brownells.com leading up to Independence Day.

The Firearms Policy Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization which helps fund the Firearms Policy Coalition, a 501(c)4 dedicated to defending the Constitution of the United States, especially the individual right to keep and bear arms.

The donation will help with the on-going struggle to restore and eventually expand constitutionally guaranteed Second Amendment rights for all Americans.

“I want to thank everyone who bought American to help save the 2nd Amendment,” said Brownells Chairman Pete Brownell.   “We all benefit from the great work of the Firearms Policy Coalition.”

“On behalf of the FPC team and our members, we are humbled and honored that Brownells and its amazing customers have so generously provided this significant funding for our critical pro-rights legal and education programs, including dozens of active lawsuits and new cases being prepared today,” said FPF Chairman and FPC President Brandon Combs. “Especially in this era where our rights are under attack at all levels, from the Biden administration to local governments like San Jose, California, every dollar counts and will go straight to the front lines in principled efforts to defend and expand individual liberty,”

The FPC has been involved in several recent high-profile Second Amendment court cases, including Miller v. Bonta which resulted in California’s ban on so-called “assault weapons” to be declared unconstitutional.

FPC also filed suit against Nevada’s recent ban on homebuilt firearms, and filed a brief in support of the right of all Americans to carry arms on their person in public.

Friday, July 16th, 2021

Provo, Utah-based company Culpeper Precision recently created a modified version of the GLOCK 19 called the “BLOCK19” due to its outward appearance.

Festooned with appear to be LEGO pieces, the pistol is no longer offered by Culpeper Precision after allegedly being contacted by LEGO Corporation.

GLOCK, Inc. USA (“GLOCK”) has recently become aware of the “BLOCK19,” a customized GLOCK pistol by Culper Precision, a company based in Utah. SilencerCo’s “American Gun” Campaign Reveals Diversity of American Gun Owners

Wednesday, July 14th, 2021

July 14, 2021 — West Valley City, UT — SilencerCo is excited to launch “American Gun,” a series of videos featuring vastly different kinds of gun owners around America that will illustrate the commonality of firearms among people from all walks of life. The first video, “American Gun: The Realtor,” will be released, July 14th, 2021, with a series of videos to follow on a monthly basis.

In the premier video, JoAnna, a single mother and real estate professional from North Carolina, tells SilencerCo why she carries concealed. As the youngest of 28 kids, she is the first entrepreneur and first girl in her family to own a gun. When a wave of rape incidents started occurring with real estate agents in her area, JoAnna decided it was time to learn how to protect herself.

“Feeling the power that you have in your hand and what you can do with it is going to make you more of who you already are,” said JoAnna. “It’s not a weapon against someone, it’s protection for myself.”

In a time when conversations surrounding firearms are very contentious, SilencerCo has taken it upon themselves to illustrate the true story of the American gun owner. “American Gun” is an intimate look at the foundation of American Freedom, focusing on the right to bear arms and the vast diversity of people that exists among those who support the second amendment across this country.

Each video in the American Gun series will showcase a different perspective from an individual who uses firearms in their daily lives. In order to force more authenticity and leave less room for error, SilencerCo used only film for the still shots included in this project.

“Still photography in the modern day has become synonymous with deception, digital manipulations meant to appear grander than reality,” said Jace LeRoy, Photographer and Media Director at SilencerCo. “American Gun is all about the truthful depiction of the typical gun owner in America and capturing their images on film will give the audience a closer look into their lives in a way they are not used to seeing.”

These videos will be featured on SilencerCo’s YouTube channel and social media platforms. They are meant to be shared and re-shared, sparking an honest conversation surrounding firearms.
