Mayflower Research & Consulting – Pusher Chest Rig (UW GEN VI)

Mayflower has just released the Pusher Chest Rig (UW GEN VI). The Pusher is intended as a streamlined carrier for individuals with a specific load out who also have to be able to quickly switch weapon platforms. The Pusher was designed to carry the following:

– Issue radio (PRC-152, PRC-148, Motorola, etc.)
– Four rifle mags (5.56, 7.62 NATO, 7.62×39, by utilizing different inserts)
– Pistol magazine
– Med kit or SAT antenna
– Four front pouches for smaller items

Additionally, the body features an internal map pocket, and 3″ shoulder straps which provide longer term comfort during extended patrolling.

Made in the USA out of 100% US materials. Currently available in MultiCam. Coyote Brown will be available shortly.

Wolf Wind Leatherworks – Wolf Equipment Belt

Portugal-based Wolf Wind Leatherworks offers and interesting take on the load carrying belt. It looks to be a great option for those into Bushcraft or want an entirely different look than the usual nylon-based systems.

Features
– Austrialpin Cobra Adjustable buckle (45 mm)-quick release. Colour options: black matte / coyote brown / desert sand / foliage green. As another buckle option, Wolf Wind provides by order: ITW Nexus GT Cobra buckle-quick release-100% polymer system with no metal components.

Additionally, there is an EDC belt that also incorporates an Austrialpin Cobra buckle. Wolf Wind Leatherworks also specializes in quality leather knifesheaths for various fixed blade models.

Crye Precision Releases New Adaptive Vest System Components

Crye Precision initially debuted several new Adaptive Vest System components at SHOT Show including the Detachable Chest Rig and Padded Yoke. They are available for sale now.

Detachable Chest Rig

Features
-Two integrated pistol pockets on each side hold a wide range of pistols with or without a light
-Side plate pocket is designed to hold a 6”x6” stand-alone plate
-Front outboard pockets can be set up to hold a radio
-Holds virtually any size ballistic plate, with stowable top flap

Blue Force Gear – Micro RACK

The BFG Micro RACK is designed as a flexible, MOLLE compatible chest rig stripped of every unnecessary gram of weight and potential failure point, creating what BFG claims is the world’s lightest MOLLE compatible chest rig. Constructed of ULTRAcomp, a proprietary material that meets or exceeds 1000D Cordura and is flame resistant and stays dry, the Micro RACK utilizes the MOLLE Minus system of laser cut slots and voids in leu of a traditional webbing system.

Trimmed down to 6 columns to allow for maximum mobility, concealment, and minimalist setup, the Micro RACK is ideal for Low Vis, SAR, or a trimmed down range rig. It comes in two sizes: Small and Large, the difference largely being the waist strap and H-harness. The Large features front male side-release buckles place at 7.5″ on center allowing compatibility with certain Velocity Systems, Mayflower, and Crye Precision armor carriers. The H-harness is 1″ Cordura webbing sewn and arranged into an H-harness style setup.

Raven Concealment Systems – ModuLoader Pocket Shield

Conceived by Chris Fry of MDTS Training and co-developed with and manufactured by Raven Concealment Systems, the ModuLoader Pocket Shield is a flexible, modular platform which allows an individual to carry a small defensive implement inside a front pants pocket without visible pocket clips for printing.

Made from a flexible, high-strength polymer, the Pocket Shield is designed to ride comfortably in the front pocket of most pants, providing consistent orientation within the pocket to facilitate quick access and deployment of a light, tool, or weapon.

The mounting slots on the Pocket Shield allows for any tool, knife, or light with a pocket clip. These slots can also accommodate virtually any small knife sheath or pocket holster from a wide variety of angles. The Pocket Shield can also be trimmed by the end user to facilitate a full fighting grip on a weapon or to better fit in smaller pockets.

High Threat Concealment – Low Pro Belt

Designed to work with HTC’s Low Profile System and other HTC components, the Low Pro Belt is a 2-piece hybrid belt that consists of a nondescript top grain leather belt front end and a tactical nylon webbing belt. A removable buckle allows the Low Pro Belt to be threaded through the forward most belt loops, obscuring the tactical nature of the belt. The belt is 1.75″ wide and lined with Velcro hook with a matching web underbelt surfaced with Velcro loop. With the underbelt threaded through pant loops, the overbelt can hold equipment and components securely in place without the need for belt keepers and can be easily removed and reattached.
