5 Seas Engineering and Trading is the passion of Eagle Industries founder John Carver. He continues to develop good ideas and shared this one with me. The Patent Pending Barracks Buddy was inspired by a requirement to hang multiple hooks to organize gear. It can also be used in locations where you can’t drive nails into the wall.

Truth be told, John’s wife Gretchen came up with the idea in order to help John keep after his stuff.

They realize pretty quickly that this new invention would be great for guys in the military.

What’s more, the hooks can be moved up and down the Barracks Buddy. And, it can be hung vertically or horizontally.

The new RD Dump Pouch is designed to hold up to 6 5.56 30 round mags or 3 7.62 20 round mags, but thanks to the Tweave construction you can fit more in there.

Notice the guides. They are meant to help the shooter ensure he hits the mouth of the dump pouch. The mouth also incorporates elastic to ensure the mags stay inside the pouch.

Manufactured by Blue Force Gear exclusively for Austere Provisions Company, the CORE Panel is a PALS compatible insert for bags, packs, and anywhere else you want to carry a preconfigured panel. You simply weave your PALS equipped pouches, holsters and other gear into the CORE Panel’s MOLLEminus field. Naturally, it will accept other attachments as well. Ive been following the development of this thing for awhile and to me, the big idea here is that you can set up your gear for specific applications no slide it into a civilian or military bag.

Now, APC has the order page up and you can sign up for in stock notification. I’m pretty stoked about this thing nd have cool leather satchel that I plan on using my CORE Panel with once I get it. I’ve used APC’s stock notification in the past and it works so don’t be shy.

If you’ve ever tried to use bungie style retention on AK magazines you know that they tend to slip out of place. The Esstac AK Flap Retainer takes the magazine’s shape into account and are designed to catch the edge of the magazine. These are designed to be used with all 7.62 and 5.56 Boar Series Chest Rigs and Wedges but since what you are getting is the webbing bits that you attach to your existing bungie, there is no reason these won’t work with virtually any rig. Sold in packs of 4.
