Tardigrade Tactical: MCRS – Modular Chest Rig System
Monday, December 27th, 2021The MCRS is a system of modular chest rig components that enables the end-user to customize their chest rig setup to any mission requirement.
The MCRS include different types of MOLLE/PALS compatible fronts, all with build in compartments on the back, ranging from:
– “Classic” chest rig fronts (Infantry Chest Rig Front) with the width of 6 to 16 MOLLE/PALS columns.
– “Split fronts” (Recon Split Front) with interchangable buckles for connecting the two sides of the split fronts.
– Plackart compatible chest rig fronts (Infantry Chest Rig Front – Plackart Ready) that allows the end-user to change between plackarts according to the task and hand.
The MCRS also includes a variety of harnesses and additional components to attach to any chest rig front, including slim, ergonomic and modular harnesses adoptable to both LE and MIL end-users.
The MCRS – Modular Chest Rig System is an expandable and adaptable system, and system as a whole will continue to grow in the future, and as we get feedback and input from our end-users, we will be able to include these when developing future components.

The Velocity Systems Lower Abdomen Pouch was designed for additional load carriage in the abdominal area below the front plate bag with optional soft armor protection (please email info@velsyst.com for information pertaining to lower abdomen soft armor). It attaches by inserting the integrated Velcro® panel into the plate carrier’s inner plate pocket. The pouch features an optional soft armor pocket, internal Velcro® panel for organization (flashbangs, 40mm grenades etc.), an exterior horizontal zippered pouch for smaller items, and a Velcro® loop panel on the front to attach markers, chemlights, and med indicators. The shape of the Lower Abdomen Pouch was developed to allow for unhindered movement. The integrated Velcro® attachment panel gives the operator the flexibility to deploy abdomen protection only when it is needed and gives the user the ability to adjust the pouches position for proper placement. The Lower Abdominal Pouch comes in one standard size. All hook and loop material used is color matching Velcro® Brand Fasteners. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.

S.O.Tech Go Bag Extended, MultiCam Black
Tuesday, December 21st, 2021Over 16 years of the iconic S.O.Tech Go Bag line. The SGB-X (S.O.Tech Go Bag, Extended) for the first time now offered in MultiCam® Black.
The S.O.Tech Go Bag series came from a friend in one of JSOC’s Tier units. They were operating in Afghanistan and Iraq crammed in Hi Luxes and Little Birds. They needed a survival kit bag that could slide in and stack in those compact spaces and extract when the troop came into contact.
The original tubular bag with single sling shoulder strap had three small zippered pockets for batteries, food, NODS, and other items.
When the same troops needed to transport their weapons quietly, we extended the length to accommodate the M4 broken down and extended the side pouches to take mags. Breaking the carbine down and stacking its components presented a a tubular shape that confused any surveillance team looking for weapons bags.
The design was quickly adapted by teams across the Interagency. And the third iteration was the S.O.Tech Go Pack where we created a double shoulder strap version for those guys carrying such a heavy load that the sling shoulder strap just wasn’t enough. However, we configured it in a unique arrangement so the double shoulder strap could connect for form a single sling strap for lighted load. All of these designs allowed for the quick donning motion of throwing it over the head and shoulder, and the easy access by spinning it around.

Thursday, December 16th, 2021The Triple AK47 SwiftClip® Placard, GP is a smaller, lighter alternative to a full chest rig, and is a quick attach/detach option allowing the end user to quickly change weapon systems without removing the rest of their equipment (radio, med etc). The placard has upward facing male buckles to clip into the SwiftClip® System on the chest of plate carriers and vests. The placard holds three AK47 magazines with an adjustable shock cord retention system. The Quad MPX SwiftClip® Placard works in conjunction with our SwiftClip® attachment system to attach to an armor carrier or vest. The placard allows the user to carry four MPX (or similar sized) magazines and provides additional rows of MOLLE to increase modularity. The design includes internal dividers that creates four separate magazine pockets, each with an adjustable shock cord retainer and webbing pull tabs. The back of the placard has hook Velcro® to mate with the loop Velcro® on the front of an armor carrier or vest. The height of the buckles from the top of the placard can be adjusted by hook and loop straps on the back of the placard to get the placard to the needed placement on chest. The IOTV Tubes®/Taktic FLEX Cummerbund Kit (US Army) covers the currently-issued Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS) Gen2, Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) Gen4, Modular Scalable Vest (MSV) Gen1, MSV Gen2 and other carriers that utilize the National Molding Quad Release system. It gives you your choice of the ubiquitous First Spear Tubes® or the more budget-friendly Taktic Buckle. The buckle adaptor pushes the Tubes® to the edge of the MOLLE front flap for daily doff-and-don while maintaining the emergency release of the Quad release system already used on these carriers. You also get to choose between Arbor Arms 2- or 3-strand FLEX Elastic Cummerbund, which gives the streamlined comfort and breathability of elastic while maintaining the MOLLE real-estate and combat load carrying support of a static cummerbund. Because it fits so many different armor carriers there are several rear cummerbund anchor options that are included with the kit. This also allows you to maintain your cummerbund kit as you change units and armor systems.
As with above kit the SPCS Gen1 FLEX Cummerbund Kit (US Army) has the same great features, but tying in to the cable emergency release on the legacy SPCS Gen1 carrier as there are MANY still in circulation.
The 2- or 3-strand options allow you to tailor your cummerbund to your needs. For example, the 2-strand FLEX Cummerbunds are great if you want to minimize bulk and run slick sides. The 3-strand FLEX Cummerbunds are ideal for maximum load support with side SAPIs and radios mounted internally, as well as mags, frags, and GP pouches mounted externally. Arbor Arms Side SAPI Pouches and Minimalist Radio Pouches (MRP) make a great addition for internal mounting on our FLEX or other MOLLE cummerbunds.
