TOPO Designs has introduced a version of their Trip Pack in Covert Transition Camo.
You may remember Covert as one of the finalists for the US Army camouflage improvement effort. Initially restricted, over the past few years, this Brookwood pattern has become more available.

Matador specializes in travel gear and now they’ve introduce their first framed pack, the Beast28 Ultralight Technical Backpack.
It’s a 28 Liter framed daypack, but with a twist, the frame isn’t a sheet or stays. Instead, they use a metal loop that holds the edges of the pack bag rigid, yet remains flexible during movement. This frame works like pop-up tents and the pack can be folded down upon itself for storage.
Made from 210D Robic nylon, the pack has an internal hydration sleeve, dual main compartment with asymmetric zipper, water bottle pockets, removable hip belt with zipper pockets and padded breathable mesh shoulder straps and back panel.

For those of you unfamiliar with the 2-Day Assault, think of it as a little brother to the 3-Day Assault which has become a staple for military load carriage for the US military as well as many of our allies.
Mystery Ranch created the 27 Liter 2-Day Assault as an EDC pack for their outdoor line. It retains the classic waterproof three zip opening and PALS webbing of its bigger brother, along with the two dual adjustment buckles to keep your load secure. The lid incorporates two zippered pockets and there are external pockets on either side of the pack bag with elastic for water bottles or other items.
Inside the main compartment there is a large padded laptop sleeve as well as side zippered access to a document/tablet sleeve pocket. Additionally, there are two zippered mesh pockets in the main compartment

MYSTERY RANCH created the Backbone Series and Scholarship to help the men and women that go above and beyond in the off-season. Fire Classes, medical training, and college education aren’t cheap. Countless men and women who work for Federal Land Management Agencies seek to better themselves in the off-season to compete for permanent appointments in fire management, whereas some individuals use fire as a means to an end in the pursuit of greater life goals and objectives.
Funding for the scholarships will be supported through the sale of two limited edition lifestyle packs, URBAN ASSAULT 21 and the 3-WAY BRIEFCASE, which will become available online in early 2021. Built in the “wildfire black” colorway with the same zippers, 500D CORDURA® fabric, and detailed pops of orange like our fire packs, 10% of proceeds from these unique packs will fund the scholarship and winning contributors will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Contributors will receive much needed scholarships to support their education and life after firefighting. Winners will be selected anonymously throughout the duration of the campaign.

The 25 Liter Drawbridge is Hazard 4’s first pack with a built-in beavertail to carry items you want to get ahold of quickly like helmets, outerwear, etc.
What’s different about their beavertail is that it can rotate down all the way and serve as a pocket for a weapon stock which can be carried vertically on the Drawbridge.
