Tuesday, May 9th, 2017Years ago, I bought a cool fleece blanket from Triple Aught Design. Unfortunately, they only made a short run of the Shag Master Blanket, that one time. I’ve been after them for years to make more and now they’ve made it happen. I’m not taking credit for this production run of this cozy blanket, made from Polartec® Thermal Pro® High Loft, and takes it’s name from their fuzzy hoodie, but it sure put a smile on my face. It’s 78″ x 54″ making it quite a bit longer than the original.
Be advised, this is a pre-order, but they are offered in three colors, Black, Eclipse and Phantom. Orders begin shipping May 29th.

NEMO Equipment has redesigned the Tretrapod hammock. It now has a symmetrical shape. Consequently, there are now four guy lines for the hammock. IWA – Hilleberg Nammatj GT Tent

Offered in two and three person versions, the Nammatj GT from Hilleberg is based on one of their commercial tents and made from 75D fabric. The tent and fly are connected so it is easier to pitch and strike. This military version features a blackout fabric fly, white guy lines (black for Green version of tent), and a slightly more durable material.
The tent has an integrated bathtub floor as well as a large vestibule for gear storage. Both doors are made from no-see-um mesh along with a standard tent fabric door. Inside are two integrated pockets as well as vents. The 2-person model weighs 4.1 kg and the 3-person model weighs 4.5 kg.
