SHOT Show 20 – Blue Force Gear Lightweight MOLLEminus Belt

During DSEI we have you a taste of great things yo come from BFG. The Lightweight MOLLEminus Belt is now in production with delivery to commence shortly in MultiCam with other colors to soon follow. Sizes 28-46.

I am very impressed with this belt which not only boasts light weight and ergonomic design, but also a static load rating of 3500lbs (15.5 kN).

Some innovative features include ULTRAcomp® laminate and composite components that are cut on a bias to provide custom-fit-comfort right out of the box. A lanyard “hard-point” at the rear of the belt is positioned for greater safety should the user depend on the restraint feature, and a matching inner belt is laser perforated for increased breathability and comfort. All this, and the Lightweight MOLLEminus Belt still comes in at only 0.65lbs for the inner/outer belt system (size 32).

The composite material sandwiched between the layers of the outer belt provide more than sufficient stiffness to carry a sidearm, plus mission essential loads without affecting overall comfort, or compromising the stability of the system.

Lastly, the MAB is Made in America of Berry compliant materials and will be available 4th quarter, 2019.

SHOT Show 20 – Spuhr AB Side Folding Stock for MP5

Håkan Spuhr showed is this new side folding stock for the MP5.

We asked him if it would fit 5.56mm H&K guns. He said he hadn’t tried it out yet, but that it definitely as the going to work as it is for a G3 family rifle due to the recoil springs.

SHOT Show 20 – OTIS Technology Introduces Automated Suppressor Cleaner

OTIS Technology gave us a sneak peek at their new Automated Suppressor Cleaner. It uses heat and pressure to pump a liquid cleaning medium through the suppressor on a timed cycle. It is a scalable technology and can be offered with multiple ports for suppressors or a tray for other parts.

SHOT Show 20 – Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW

Daniel Defense is exhibiting their new DDM4 PDW at SHOT Show. It is in 300 BLK with a 7″ cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:7 twist. It uses the DD linear compensator which you can see in the photo below to keep it running in such a short configuration.

The rail is a MFR XL 6.0 which is M-LOK standard. Weighing in at 5.7″ it can be had as a pistol with brace or as an SBR.

Bushnell Expands Engage Optics with Three New Models

OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – January 22, 2020 – Bushnell, an industry leader in performance optics, has expanded its popular line of Engage products with three new models for 2020. Engineered with modern features hunters and shooters demand, the new Engage models consist of a new riflescope with illuminated reticle, a new 20-60x80mm spotter with metal chassis and a new 10x42mm binocular.

Designed to deliver high-end quality at affordable prices, the new Engage products continue to produce leading results whether used on the range or in the field.

Engage Riflescope – For 2020, Bushnell has added a new riflescope to the Engage line with the availability of a new 3-9×40 riflescope with illuminated reticle. Combining premium glass with an illuminated riflescope reticle for superior target contrast in low light situations, the new Engage riflescope makes sight acquisition quick an easy. Six brightness settings enable precise aiming in any lighting situation while the scope’s low-profile design allow it to be easily mounted on a variety of firearm platforms. In addition, the riflescope features capped elevation and windage turrets to prevent unwanted movement along with a fixed 100-yard parallax. Additional standard features found on both riflescopes include a 1-inch tube, second focal plane design, fast focus eyepiece and EXO™ Barrier lens technology for protection against all elements.

Engage DX Spotting Scope – Purpose built for the hybrid hunter/shooter, the Engage DX spotting scope simplifies long range viewing with fully multi-coated optics combined with a new rugged construction. The 20-60x80mm spotter provides users with bright, clear images while its new metal chassis and rubber armor protect the optical system for a lifetime of use. High quality images are always guaranteed through Bushnell’s dielectric prism coating and patented EXO™ Barrier finish. The new Engage DX spotter is standard with an angled eye-piece with twist-up eyecups along with a built-in sunshade for easy operation during long days in the field. Additional new features include built-in picatinny accessory rails at the rear of the spotter for optional accessories and a rotating tripod collar.

Engage X Binocular – For those in search of a quality pair of binoculars with enhanced low-light performance at an entry level price point, the new Bushnell Engage X 10-42mm binoculars won’t disappoint. Designed with a lightweight, IPX7 waterproof construction that is 23% lighter than the Engage DX 10-42, the new binoculars are ideal for extended use. High quality images are ensured through fully multi-coated optics along with the company’s proprietary EXO™ Barrier lens technology for protection against water, fog, dust and debris.
