Tuesday, August 8th, 2017Navy Veteran Named Director Of Operations For Counter Human Trafficking Organization
Friday, August 4th, 2017ALBUQUERQUE, NM (August 1, 2017) – Michael “Fulli” Fullilove, who served 20 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, has been appointed Director of Operations for DeliverFund, a national nonprofit private intelligence organization providing counter human trafficking services to law enforcement who combat human trafficking.
During his military service Fullilove deployed to numerous locations around the world including multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo as well as many developing nations where he worked with senior-level foreign government officials in combatting violent extremist organizations.
Fullilove is an expert in Risk, Threat and Vulnerability Assessment, Counter and Anti-Terrorism operations, Surveillance, and Counter-Surveillance. He has worked extensively with law enforcement and inter-agency stakeholders in sharing resources and assets to expand training for the Special Operations community. Since retiring from the military, Fullilove has been an operations consultant for select military and government agency clients.
Fullilove is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, a Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and numerous specific Commendation Medals. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Excelsior College and a Master’s Degree from Penn State. He is a qualified Special Forces Medic and speaks conversational Spanish. Before joining DeliverFund, Fullilove was Managing Director of Security Services for Barrister Global Solutions, LLC.
Fullilove’s responsibilities with DeliverFund will include supervision of the organization’s operational team and contractors; overseeing law enforcement support services and coordination of DeliverFund intelligence operations.
DeliverFund is a registered 501c3 organization whose team is composed of individuals from the US Special Operations and Intelligence communities. Collectively they have decades of experience understanding and dismantling illicit groups around the world. DeliverFund has redirected their training and expertise in counterterrorism to combat the prolific problem of human trafficking in the United States. DeliverFund partners with law enforcement to provide the additional data needed to do their jobs by outlining strategic intelligence opportunities increasing their success rate arresting traffickers and freeing victims.

Polaris’ Indian Motorcycle & Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis Welcomes ‘Hero’s Ride of a Lifetime’ Selectees to Third Annual Motorcycle Therapy Adventure
Tuesday, July 25th, 2017Corporal Joshua Stein, US Army (Ret.) joined the Army in February of 2005 as a 12B Combat Engineer, and was deployed to Iraq in December. On Easter Sunday of 2006, Josh and his team were struck by an Explosively Formed Penetrator bomb that blasted through their armored Bradley vehicle and immediately severed and cauterized both of Josh’s legs. Doctors in Iraq prioritized limb salvage, saving both his arms, and transported him back to the U.S., where he eventually woke up out of a medically induced coma with his family surrounding him a the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio Texas. Following a long battle, and significant rehabilitation, Josh found a purpose at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) from which he’ll be graduating in Phoenix, Arizona on July 7, 2017.
Josh’s best friend, Corporal Neil Frustaglio, US Marines (Ret.) joined the Marines right after graduating high school and was deployed in September of 2005 with his unit to Ramadi, Iraq. While on a mission providing security during the Iraqi elections, Neil’s convoy sustained two massive IED explosions. As a result of the blasts, Neil lost both of his legs above the knee and received third-degree burns to twenty percent of his body, forcing him to undergo 24 surgeries and intense physical therapy at the young age of twenty-two. In a significant effort to turn around his life, support his family and maintain a regular life, Neil went back to work and eventually to school. He graduated in December 2016 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Arizona State University. Neil grew up riding motorcycles, was constantly on a bike before his injury.
“We’re extremely excited for this year’s ride to Sturgis. We have a great group of veterans joining us, and each and every year is special in its own right,” said David Frey, Veterans Charity Ride Founder. “Our Hero’s Ride of a Lifetime selectees, Josh and Neil, know a thing or two about resiliency. It’ll be incredible to witness two above-the-knee bi-lateral amputees push and motivate one another half way across the country as they trade off riding an Indian Scout Avenger Sidecar. That indomitable spirit and nature will be powerful for our entire group of veterans.”
The two heroes will pilot an Indian Scout Avenger Sidecar with modifications made by John Meade, owner of Azzkikr Custom Baggers, and his veteran employees in Phoenix, AZ. The Indian Scout Sidecar rig will be outfitted with a Rekluse Clutch, which eliminates the need to pull the clutch handle for shifting, a hand shift mechanism so the amputee rider can shift the bike manually, and the rear brake system will be moved and adapted to a hand brake on the left handlebar. The Scout will be complete with a custom Corbin seat to provide extra comfort and seating area for the long journey.
The Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis will depart from Los Angeles on July 28, on Indian Motorcycles and Champion Sidecars. The therapeutic adventure provides participating veterans the opportunity to work toward overcoming their post-war challenges while out on the open road. Riding through the most scenic back roads of the western United States, veterans will not only experience the great outdoors and the beauty this country has to offer, but also make stops to meet with other veterans, supporters, riders, and participate in various adjacent adventures. Upon arrival in Sturgis on August 5, the group will be treated to a special “Heroes Welcome” before taking part in a week of activities that further solidify the brotherhood and sisterhood formed during the ride.
The Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis was conceived and developed by veteran Army Paratrooper Dave Frey and Emmy Award-winning producer and director Robert Manciero of Full Vision Productions, leveraging the therapeutic effects of motorcycle riding to create an adventure of a lifetime for wounded veterans.

The MARSOC Foundation recently learned that several Marine Raiders from the “Greatest Generation” need financial assistance to reunite at the annual Marine Raiders Reunion in San Diego, CA.
These WW II heroes are over ninety-five years young and on fixed incomes. They need our assistance to offset the high cost of travel. Please help support bringing the World War II Marine Raiders together to mark the historic battle of “Bloody Ridge.”

Retired SF SGM Hiking Appalachian Trail To Raise Money For SOWF
Monday, July 3rd, 2017Retired SF SGM and disabled veteran Paul Gaumond plans to hike the entire 2,190-mile long, Appalachian Trail beginning in March, 2018 with his daughter and wants to use the occasion to raise funds for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
100% of the donations will go to the foundation and will be used in the following manner:
1. College scholarships for the surviving children of fallen Special Operations service members.
2. Family & educational counseling, including in-home tutoring.
3. Immediate $5,000.00 financial grants to severly combat wounded Special Operations service members.

VA pension is a needs-based benefit for wartime Veterans with limited or no income who are age 65 or older. Those who have a permanent and total non-service-connected disability may also qualify. In addition, Veterans who are housebound or require an aid to perform daily activities may qualify for pension at an increased rate.
Like Jim, a Korean War Veteran who has Alzheimer’s and needs care 24/7. His sons found the help their family needed through VA pension benefits.
Using the financial support from Jim’s pension benefits, the family hired an aid to take care of Jim on a daily basis. With the help of a caregiver, Jim and his wife are able to stay in their house and get the services they need.
“Just knowing somebody is there in the morning to help to start their day and help with their daily activities is a real relief for our family,” says James, Jim’s oldest son.
Tim, Jim’s youngest son, says the money has been a godsend. “It has helped my mother and my dad. It relieves a lot of pressure and stress on us as a family.”
