New Order for Spuhr MP5 Stocks from German BundesPolizei

Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019

Löddeköpinge, Sweden (October 18, 2019) – Spuhr i Dalby AB (Spuhr®) has been awarded an additional order for MP5 stocks. In July and September 2019 Spuhr® delivered 3,000 sets of our R-315 MP5 Adjustable Stock, Low to the German Bundespolizei. Today it is with great pride that Spuhr® can announce that we have received a second order for another 3,000 stock assemblies to be delivered by the end of 2019, with options for additional deliveries in 2020.

Mr. Ulf Nilsson, Chairman of the Board, says, “We are very proud that the Bundespolizei have chosen our stock assemblies to upgrade their MP5s – and we are extremely grateful for Pol-Tec’s [Spuhr’s German distributor] hard work in securing this contract.”

The Spuhr® R-315 MP5 Adjustable Stock, Low is an adaptation of the Spuhr® R-410 G3 Adjustable Stock, which was designed to provide improved ergonomics and controllability for the G3 platform. The first major order was to the Swedish Armed Forces for the AK 4C and the AK 4D, and based on the success in Sweden, the R-410 – and its siblings, the R-310 and R-315 stocks, for the MP5 – are in use with the Swedish Army and Home Guard, the Portuguese Marines, and with law enforcement in Germany and the Netherlands.

P365 XL; Why You Need One, True Precision Releases P365 XL Barrels

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019

ACWORTH, GA – True Precision, the industry leading manufacturer of pistol accessories has today announced the release of their aftermarket Sig Sauer P365 XL Barrels. Options of barrels will be Threaded 1/2X28” and Non-Threaded. Coating options will also be consistent with True Precision’s past offerings such as Gold TiN, Black Nitride, Grey, Copper and several other custom colors.

Exciting improvements were made to the design and were thoroughly considered during development. One implemented upgrade is a widened feed ramp to allow smoother feeding with all types of 9mm ammunition. Hollow Point defense ammunition is now easily fed with the addition of True Precision’s aftermarket barrel. There are noticeable aggressive chamfers that were added to the lower area of the lug to reduce metal peening that was experienced on earlier production OEM models. Each Barrel is checked multiple times throughout the manufacturing process for concentricity to ensure the quality True Precision consistently delivers. The rifling process is cut broached for dependable accuracy. Whether looking for a direct non-threaded replacement barrel or wanting the options that a threaded barrel delivers, the shooter will feel the difference of a True Precision Barrel.

True Precision also makes barrels for the Sig Sauer P365, Glock 19, Glock 26, Glock 43 and Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9. With the overwhelming popularity of micro sub-compact pistols, True Precision aggressively works in that market. True Precision has seen a need for the aftermarket of these Sig Sauer pistols in particular, so Sig P365 and P365 XL owners can rest assured there are some exciting products in the pipeline coming their way.

Jason Allen, CFO of True Precision said “listening to the wants and needs of our customers is always in the forefront of our minds. Without our amazing customer base, we cannot conduct business successfully.”

AUSA 19 – LMD Pistol Enhancer For Glock

Thursday, October 17th, 2019

LaserMaxDefense manufactures the Pistol Aiming Laser (PAiL) for the US Army’s Modular Handgun System.

The switches are designed to be operated while wearing gloves and both the white light and IR illuminator (while using gen III Night Vision Devices) are designed to provide positive weapons ID at 40m.

Capabilities:

WHITE LIGHT: 175 lumens (typical) of white light
IR ILLUMINATOR: 175 mW (typical) of 850nm illumination
IR LASER: 850nm 0.7 mW max (class1) eye safe aiming laser

Length: < 2.8″
Height: < 1.4″ (not below trigger guard)
Width: < 1.5″
Weight: 2.6 ounces with battery

The Pistol Enhancer offers two hours of continuous use with a single CR-123 battery, which can be changed without removing the device from the weapon.

LMD took a look at the market and decided to create a version for use with the Glock. Because the trigger guard of the MHS is so large, they had to make a new version, with a different housing. Functionality of this prototype is the same as the original model, but experimentation has shown that it will fit a wider variety of pistols.

CAA USA Confirms Exclusive Licensing Agreement with SB Tactical

Wednesday, October 9th, 2019

CAA USA, designer and developer of the MCK conversion kit for popular handguns, confirms that it has an exclusive licensing agreement with SB Tactical®, the originators of the Pistol Stabilizing Brace® for use on the MCK and Micro Roni.

Pompano Beach (October 2019) – CAA USA, designers and developers of the MCK/Micro Conversion Kit, confirmed that since May 2019, it has a licensing agreement with SB Tactical®, the originators of the patented Pistol Stabilizing Brace®, for exclusive use on CAA USA products.

“CAA USA is very excited about this exclusive agreement with SB Tactical,” LTC. (Ret.) Mikey Hartman, CEO of CAA USA, commented. “Both CAA USA and SB Tactical are committed to developing superior products that meet the demands of our customer base and ensuring quality and integrity above all.”

The agreement specifies that only CAA USA MCK/Micro Conversion Kits have the right to utilize the intellectual property associated with the Pistol Stabilizing Brace. Any similar products not produced by CAA USA but sold under the CAA Israel name violate the SB-Tactical contracts and are not sanctioned by either company.

Alex Bosco, founder and owner of SB Tactical said in a statement, “We would like to inform our US distributors and dealers that CAA USA is the only manufacturer of MCK, Micro Roni and Roni Stabilizers authorized to produce handgun conversion kits with the SB Tactical patented Stabilizing Brace® technology. We respectfully request that any purported, counterfeit and/or unauthorized use of Stabilizing Braces in handgun conversion kits manufactured, sold or marketed by other companies be reported to SB Tactical. Please notify SB Tactical of any Micro Roni or Roni Stabilizers coming from companies like YRS Inc., CAA Industries (Israel) and Jay Technology, as they are unauthorized sellers of this product.”

Hartman added, “We at CAA USA have cut all ties with CAA Israel because of unauthorized actions of one of its minority shareholders, who began infringing on the SB Tactical patent, as well as violating the MAP prices on the Micro Roni, by selling through an Israeli internet company called YRS. Given these unlawful actions, we had no choice but to design and manufacture our own 100% made in the USA conversion kit called the MCK. In addition, we have taken legal action to stop CAA Israel’s minority shareholder from making false and defamatory statements about the safety of our MCK”. In legal filings, CAA USA has also established that CAA Israel has been facing financial difficulties, further contributing to the need for separation of the two companies.

The CAA USA MCK is the next-generation Micro conversion kit, 100% American-made, easy to assemble, and compatible with the most popular handguns including GLOCK, SIG Sauer and Smith & Wesson. The MCK GLOCK model can accommodate 12 different GLOCK pistol models, allowing the end user more options at a lower cost.

For assembly, simply place the pistol in the CAA USA MCK/Micro Conversion Kit, lock it in and go! There is no pistol disassembly required. The exposed side release allows for direct contact and is easier to use. The MCK is ambidextrous and the right-folding stock arm brace allows for concealment and carry and locks in the folded position. Lots of options for adding accessories and optics with a top Picatinny rail and side Picatinny rails. A spare magazine holder is located in the front for faster reloads and the ergonomic finger groove grip provides the user more stability.

The CAA USA MCK is a vast improvement from previous generations of the Micro Roni Stabilizer. CAA USA is introducing a new patent-pending, revolutionary forward-grip that allows for incredible stability with one-of-a-kind ergonomics. The MCK also provides a new spare magazine holder option that was not available in the older stabilizer versions. CAA USA also now offers models that were not available in the previous conversion kits such as the GLOCK 20/21, the SIG Sauer P320 full-size and compact, the S&W M&P Gen 1 full-size and compact, the M&P 2.0 full-size and compact, and CAA USA will introduce a new Springfield model as well the new Gen 2 MCK in the fourth quarter of 2019. CAA USA will unveil the new products at the 2019 NASGW Expo in Orlando, Florida on Oct. 22 – 25th at booth 1719.

The CAA USA MCK MSRP starts at $249.00 at CAA USA online.
