Hog Saddle – Multiuse Arca RC2 Connector QD Plate

The Multiuse Arca RC2 Connector (MARC) QD Plate from Hog Saddle is really two Quick Detach Plates in one.

It was designed to mount to both (1.5”/38mm) Arca-Swiss tripod clamps and legacy Manfrotto tripod heads that use RC2/200PL attachment plates.

The ultralight, Patent Pending design prevents horizontal movement with Manfrotto tripod heads, and accommodates for Arca-Swiss plate retention slots and Feisol retention plungers.

Triggrcon 18 – SB Tactical FS1913 Pistol Stabilizing Brace

SB Tactical continues to pump out new products to help the disabled enjoy their constitutional rights and confound the BATFE with their ingenuity. Their very latest is the FS1913 Pistol Stabilizing Brace, designed specifically for use with firearms with a Mil Std 1913 end Plate such as the SIG Rattler.

It’s a low-profile, left folding strut design and the steel hinge locks in both folded and extended positions.

Triggrcon 18 – Fortis Manufacturing

The Lightweight Endplate (LE) was designed to eliminate the requirement to stake Receiver Extension Castle Nuts.

It comes in two styles, the K1 is a tapered thread and the K2 uses an Omega Clip which slides into a slot and captures everything together. Either version requires just 15 inch pounds of pressure to install.

Triggrcon 18 – New Products from Maxim Defense

Maxim Defense has been doing some great work for the AR platform in two primary areas, Collapsible Stocks and Handguards. Both of the new products they showed me support this work.

Max-Stax

Max-Stax are M-LOK compatible Picatinny rail sections. What makes these different is that they can be stacked against one another, with no wasted rail space. Seen here mounted to Maxim Defense’s Slimline M-LOK Handguards, Max-Star come in 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 section bricks.

Next Generation Buffer System

The Next Generation Buffer System Introduces six new buffers, each with the type and Wright engraved on the head.

S1 – 3.30 oz
S2 – 3.90 oz
H1 – 4.35 oz
H2 – 4.65 oz
H3 – 4.90 oz
P – 7.25 oz

Maxim also plans to introduce two more Action Spring (Light and Heavy), offering customers up to 15 Buffer and Spring combinations, to support virtually any AR build.

In the photo you also get a sneak peek of their upcoming Gen 2 SCW stock system. It will include a proprietary Bolt Carrier Group, but it incorporates an anti-tilt feature, although the Buffer itself has the same internal structure as the other Next Generation Buffers.

Unity Tactical FUSION Friday

This FUSION configuration features the Micro Hub 2.0, Backup Iron Sight – Folding, and Lightwing – Left. The build is mounted in front of an AN/PEQ-15 laser and supports a Surefire M600U Scout Light. Mounting the Micro Hub forward of a laser allows a pressure switch (shown here with TAPS) to be snugged right up behind the laser body for easy access to both onboard and remote controls. The Micro Hub is extremely low profile, creating no interference with lasers. The Backup Iron Sight – Folding is narrow enough to easily fit between the apertures of dual output lasers. The Lightwing will readily accept direct-mount of Surefire Scout and Millennium series weapon lights, as well as Streamlight PROTAC Rail-Mount lights. This Lightwing is the Left Side variant, but mounted backwards on the right side of the rifle – cantilevering the light within the footprint of the rail. Attaching lights to the Lightwing raises them up above the bore and tucks them tighter under the laser body for an extremely compact package.

TangoDown Announces New Vickers Tactical Carry Trigger for GLOCK

TangoDown™ Inc. is excited to introduce the new addition to the Vickers Tactical™ product lineup! Join us in welcoming the Vickers Tactical™ Carry Trigger (VTCT). There are two (2) different models which accommodate the large variety of Glock™ models on the market (see below).

The VTCT is a flat faced polymer trigger. The flat faced trigger has become quite popular among shooters and offers the perception of a lighter trigger press. When developing the VTCT, the mechanical take-up was not modified. However, over-travel was shortened to offer a quicker reset, which allows for a quicker follow up shot.

The VTCT is made from the same material as the OEM trigger, so there isn’t the risk of wear/damage to the frame. The trigger is an insulator, not a heat conductor and will not get hot while spending the day on the range.
