Magpul – PRS GEN3 Precision-Adjustable Stock

Magpul has just released the much-anticipated PRS GEN3 field precision stock for AR15/M16 and AR10/SR25 platforms. It features tool-less length of pull and cheek piece height adjustment.

With solid adjustments for length of pull and cheek piece height via aluminum detent knobs, the PRS GEN3 (Precision Rifle/Sniper) stock provides a stable interface and is intended for semi-automatic sniper or varmint type rifles. Offering a nearly universal fit, it is optimized for rifle-length receiver extensions but will also mount to mil-spec carbine and A5-length tubes. Includes a cant/height-adjustable rubber butt-pad and rotation-limiting QD sling swivel cups as well as M-LOK slots on the bottom for rear monopod mounting. Made in U.S.A.

Tyrant Designs CNC Announces Its First Of A New Line Of Foregrips, The Mod ForeGrip Series

Tyrant Designs CNC, an industry leader in high-end aftermarket AR grips, has announced the release of their new line of foregrips. The MOD ForeGrip, available in black, red, blue (soon), and grey is CNC machined from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum. The grip weighs in at a lightweight 1.7 ounces and is fully M-LOK and Keymod compatible.

“The MOD ForeGrip is the first installment in our new line of foregrips! Designed to match our very successful MOD AR-15 Pistol Grip, it too has an aluminum body with a polymer finger strap. With a specially designed mounting system, it is compatible with both M-LOK and Keymod rails. Meaning with just a quick change in hardware (that is supplied with the grip when purchased) it can be mounted on either type of rail system. We believe that this is the type of versatility that operators need in order to furnish multiple weapons. The polymer strap helps the operator instantly feel comfortable with the foregrip and give them the confidence needed for any type of situation. Magpul’s M-LOK GI Sling Swivel Now Available

The M-LOK GI Sling Swivel is a traditional sling swivel loop for M-LOK compatible systems. Its base is machined from Mil- Spec anodized aluminum and utilizes a coated steel loop, which accepts up to 1-1/4” sling. With its compact and low profile design it provides a minimal footprint, which allows for more hand guard real estate. Like any other Magpul M-LOK accessory, the M-LOK GI Sling Swivel features recoil/impact mitigation lugs and cammed T-Nuts for proper M-LOK engagement.

Magpul Introduces Medium Coyote Tan To Their GEN M3 PMAG

Shipping in February, 2017 is the new Medium Coyote Tan color to Magpul’s popular GEN M3 PMAG. Previously only offered in Black, they’ve came up with a way to make really strong Tan mags. The GEN M3 PMAG also recently completed an exhaustive magazine evaluation by the US Army and it did very, very well.

Some will question why this new color. The answer lies with the US Army which requires a “Small Arms Weapons Neutral” band of colors. Unfortunately, FDE, although popular, isn’t in that band of colors. Magpul is just giving the customer what they want, and we benefit from it as well. Look for a new NSN for the MAG556-MCT soon.

TangoDown – Light Portal Front Sight

The new Light Portal Front Sight (FFA-02) from TangoDown is pretty awesome. It’s a combination weapon light mount and front sight; all in one compact package. The FFA-02 was developed to give shooters the ability to place a weapon light on the 12:00 rail without obstructing the front sight.  I’ve done this in the past using a SureFire X300 on a rifle which incorporates an FSP, but I haven’t tried it with an XC-1, yet.  Now, I’ll have to give it a shot.

This weapon light mount accommodates the SureFire XC-1 Pistol Light, creating a lightweight option if you’re looking to reduce the weight on your carbine. Maintaining a hand forward shooting position makes activating the XC-1 weapon light easy and quick. For use with low-profile gas block barrels only. Does not work with standard barrel-mounted M16/M4 fixed front sights.
