HSP Releases Thorntail Offset Mount
Wednesday, October 31st, 2012Haley Strategic Partners has introduced the Thorntail Offset Mount, the latest in their line of Thorntail Light mounts. Manufactured exclusively for HSP by Impact Weapons Components, the Thorntail series is Picatinny compatible and allows you to move the light out of the way in order to accommodate grip or other accessories. This new offset model is at 45 degrees.

PMAG GEN M3/USGI Rifle Drop Test
Tuesday, October 30th, 2012The latest installment in Magpul’s ongoing demonstrations of their new M3 PMAG technology is the “Full Weapon Drop Test.” This unscientific test replicates the weight of a full weapon (~8 lbs) dropped from a height of five feet onto a loaded magazine that is seated on a closed bolt. For comparison, they also perform the same drop on a USGI tan follower magazine and then live fire test both magazines.
