Bravo Company has joined forces with Haley Strategic Partners to produce The Jack, as in “Jack of all Trades.” The technologies integrated into this carbine build are impressive, to say the least.
Built on a Bravo Company lower and upper, the 5.56mm carbine relies on BCM’s 14.5″ Government Profile Barrel (and mid-length gas system) with a permanent mounting of the brand new BCMGUNFIGHTER Compensator making it a 16″ Civilian Legal Barrel. This is paired with the excellent Geissele Super Modular Rail mounted with a BCM Diopter Front Folding Battle Sight and Rear Folding Battle Sight.
HSP also specified the ALG Defense ACT Trigger which gives you a Geissele quality trigger in a US GI package as well as the newly debuted B5 Systems SOPMOD Bravo Stock mounted to a Bravo Company receiver extension. The Jack also includes a BCM GUNFIGHTER Charging Handle and Mod I Pistol Grip. Weighing in at 6 lbs 11 oz (with light, mount and irons), The Jack incorporates the Inforce WML-HSP (Momentary Only White Light Black Body) mounted to a Haley Strategic Thorntail Offset Light Mount built by Impact Weapons Components right out of the box. All of this topped off with a custom Disruptive Grey tone Cerakote finish by Joint Force Enterprises. This gun is ready to go as soon as you pick it up from the FFL. The only thing you will want to do to upgrade The Jack is to add an optic of your choice.

I am continually impressed at the quality of BCM guns and the number of products that are debuting on The Jack is a testament to the hard work that Haley Strategic Partners put into working with their industry affiliates to make this a reality.

Travis Haley gives us a vlog update on what he’s been up to and where Haley Strategic Partners is going. A couple of interesting notes. One is the advent of Disruptive Science or D5 and the upcoming new course, Fluid Kinesthetic Awareness which will concentrate on how the body employs a weapon in a variety of positions.
HSP is dedicated to working with other companies through their Disruptive Industries program as well as codevelopment of products directly with their industry affiliates. The message from Travis Haley? Look for new products this coming year. Based on this, something stood out in the video that I found very interesting. Haley briefly flashed this image. Could it be a new Bravo Company rifle? Maybe an HSP rifle?
Finally, Haley also urges folks to support the MARSOC Foundation.

In a roundabout way, Bravo Company Manufacturing announced a new compensator today in a video featuring their weapons. You can only see a glimpse in a few frames.
Bravo Company Manufacturing introduces their new Gunfighter’s Grip which was designed based on modern carbine manipulation techniques. It offers a reduced angle over the standard issue grip and does away with finger grooves which may or may not fit your hand. As you can see in this graphic, the M16A2 grip was designed for use in a range setting whereas the new GFG was optimized for a modern gunfighting stance.
Haley Strategic Partners consulted on the development of the GFG and offered SSD a few observations –
“Modern weapon manipulation techniques have been informed by years of conflict overseas and at home, with technology complimenting natural biomechanics to create a more lethal platform.
In the past stance and grip were something created from doctrine and not science. Today we understand the science and priority in gunfighting:
1: Solid recoil control dramatically increases the shooters ability to balance speed and precision. This improves efficiency, hit probability, effectiveness which leads to improves shooter survivability.
2: The modern shooting platform forces the shooters armor towards the direct threat he’s engaging, reducing lateral vulnerability to the chest and abdomen otherwise exposed in a bladed stance towards the direct threat.”
The BCM GFG is offered in two configurations. The MOD 0 features a slim design, similar in size to the A1 and A2 pistol grips, while the MOD 1 features a high rise back strap for those of you with bigger hands or who like to get a higher grip on their gun. Additionally, it comes with two Modular Trigger Guard Inserts that fill that annoying gap between the trigger guard and the pistol grip. One version is extended and the other is smooth. The GFG also features a water resistant hinged trap door with rubber gasket that offers internal storage for batteries or other small items.
The GFG is available in Black, OD and Flat Dark Earth.
