Higher Ground Raffle Winner Announced

Elite Defense gave us some good news and some bad news today. The good news is that they drew a winner for the Higher Ground raffle which consists or a carbine and a whole slew of kick ass accessories. Of course, the bad news is that I didn’t win it.

However, Rusty H of DSGArms.com from the great state of Texas (Ticket # 62120219) is the winner! Congrats!

Spartan Imports Black Site Raffle: Results Are In

Remember the Spartan Imports raffle we mentioned from SHOT? It apparently went pretty well, and Tactical Fanboy has the results, as well as pictures of the airsoft weapons painted and equipped to mirror what Dalton Fury carried on the ground after 9/11 (which several members of the team went by and signed at SHOT). Nice work for a nice cause, Spartan Imports and Elite Defense. A Soldier Systems Flunky is almost finished with Black Site, by the way, more on that soon. Check it out on Tactical Fanboy.

Industry Party Benefits Higher Ground

Last night, an industry party sponsored by Elite Defense, FirstSpear, Insight Technologies, Smith Optics Elite Division, and Magnum raised funds for Higher Ground (a program of Sun Valley Adaptive Sports). Higher Ground provides a multidisciplinary approach to the long-term healing, restoration, and rehabilitation of wounded veterans with TBI/PTSD

The event was attended by many industry professionals along with members of the profession of arms. They were treated to hors d’oeuvres and there was much catching up amongst old friends.

A sumptuous raffle prize table was overflowing with highly sought after tactical products from a variety of vendors. At the end of the night, there were a lot of pleased revelers.

Except us, we didn’t win anything. But that SMG Lee did. He won two prizes. If you know where he lives, you know what to do…say, “Congrats!”

Elite Defense Partners with The 132 Group

Elite Defense has announced the addition of The 132 Group to its expanding base of partners and suppliers.

Under the leadership of The 132 Group’s Principle Officer, William (Bill) Jarvis, the company will assist Elite Defense with opening new channels, suppliers, and in bringing new products to market. The 132 Group was formed in 2011 by former members of the US Special Operations Community with the goal of increasing capabilities for our men and women in uniform and enhancing opportunities for those industry partners striving to better serve them.
