Mission Spec Obtains Rights To Produce Sherpa Mag Pouch For Yeti Wurks

Monday, July 9th, 2018

Mission Spec, LLC has recently obtained the rights to the Sherpa Scorpion Evo III Mag Pouch from Fight and Flight Tactical and will be producing it exclusively for Yeti Wurks.

The Sherpa is a four mag carry solution made specifically for the thicker magazines used by the CZ Scorpion Evo III.  The pouch comes standard with both bungee and flap-over-mag Velcro retention options. It can be attached to a plate carrier via the included MALICE clips or worn as a standalone piece of gear in a bandoleer style (strap included and removable).

The Sherpa is 100% manufactured in the United States with US sourced components and is Berry Compliant.  Black and Coyote are available at the time of this writing. As production ramps up, other colors/patterns will include MultiCam, Ranger Green, and Kryptek Typhon.

Some reports/reviews indicated that the original Sherpa mag pouch was too tight when inserting the magazine. Mission Spec has slightly edited the design to include more tolerance in the pouch area.

Fight and Flight Tactical – Ambidextrous Sling Pack

Tuesday, March 21st, 2017

Fight and Flight Tactical is a Veteran owned small business and this is their Ambidextrous Sling Pack or A.S.P., which is an EDC bag for keeping a carbine close at hand.

The A.S.P. has three compartments, all pass-through, designed to carry an SBR, Pistol variant of a modern sporting rifle (with a folding stock), or an SMG (with a folding stock or no stock) in the main compartment, spare mags in the front compartment, and a body armor panel in the rear compartment. The sling strap can be reconfigured to work left or right handed, just by switching the bottom attachment point. Many have asked, “why a sling pack?” A two-strap backpack wouldn’t be able to deploy quickly and would have one of the straps flapping around, getting in your way. All three compartments have loop fastener inside for infinite configuration possibilities.

There are a wide variety of color combinations. Check the website for availability.

The T.A.S.K. (Tactical Ass Scrubbing Kit) is quite possibly the only non-disposable tactical body cleanser currently on the market. Constructed from 8mm antimicrobial spacer mesh, the T.A.S.K. fits standard-sized soap bars, although it also works well with just slivers of soap and even liquid soap, and facilitates a thick lather to wash away dirt and grime, while inhibiting bacterial growth. Includes 6″ webbing loop for hanging out to dry, use at a field sanitation station, or simply for retention.

Available in Black and Tan.

The LLAMA pack is designed to be a low-profile, multi-mission capable assault pack. The main compartment features a hydration/armor pouch, hangers for soft armor or hydration badder, loop on pocket for mounting accessories, and a hydration port. The front compartment is designed for accessing contents from left, right, or top and has a hydration hanger in the top of the pocket for an alternate or secondary hydration bladder.

Exterior side slip pockets each have a PALS webbing face for mounting exterior pouches. The pack face has five rows, four columns of PALS webbing and extended loops on the ends for routing shock cord to contain loose gear. Two axe loops on the lower face can be used for rifle barrels for muzzle-down carry – up to two rifles can be carried in this manner.

The tailgate has seven rows, five columns of PALS webbing, and loop fastener for name tapes and patches. The rear features a pocket for carrying longer rifles in muzzle-up position, and a hydration hanger for an alternate or tertiary hydration bladder. The tailgate is also removable, and secures to the pack with 1″ side release buckles and ITW quick-attach surface mount buckles.

A removable kidney pad secures into the main pack in a dedicated slot with hook and loop. It features 1/2″ orthotic foam padding and 8mm antimicrobial airmesh. The fit is adjustable, and it features two rows, six columns of PALS webbing. The shoulder straps feature 1/4″ orthotic foam padding and 8mm antimicrobial airmesh. They feature web dominators for commo cable and hydration tube management, and the sternum strap is removable. The back panel features 1/4″ orthotic foam padding and 8mm antimicrobial airmesh. Arm loops allow for the LLAMA to be use as an entry shield when outfitted with armor, and the back panel also has slots for internal frame stays, up to 1.5” wide x 15” long.

The LLAMA comes in the following camos and colors: MultiCam, Kryptek Highlander, Kryptek Typhon, Kryptek Nomad, Kryptek Madrake, Black, Ranger Green, Foliage Green, Pink, and Coyote brown; liner available in hi-vis orange or tactical Tan 499. A jumpable version will be available soon.

The Tactical Java Retention System

Saturday, September 8th, 2012

The Tactical Java Retention System comes from Fight and Flight Tactical. The owner originally conceived the idea during a 2005 deployment to Iraq and hand stitched the prototype in order to stow his empty coffee cup on his IBA. He commercialized the concept as the MOLLE Coffee Cup Holder.

Recently he dusted off that early model and updated its features including the ability to accommodate a mug with handles. It will also now suit a wider variety of different mugs up to and including a 1 Qt Nalgene bottle. They’ve also added 2 side pouches for carrying your favorite instant blend, sweetener, creamer or drink mixes. Naturally, it’s MOLLE compatible and incorporates and insulated band that uses 1/8″ closed-cell foam to help keep the hots hot and the colds cold.

Made in USA! and available in a variety of colors and patterns. Get yours from www.fightandflight.com.

Fight and Flight Tactical – 4×4 Hybrid Patch Panel

Sunday, November 20th, 2011

20111119-075901.jpg

The 4×4 Hybrid Patch Panel from Fight and Flight Tactical is an interesting concept. It looks as if they’ve crossbred an admin panel and a pistol magazine shingle. As you can see, it accepts pistol magazines like a standard mag pouch, yet it has that flat design featuring PALS webbing across the front like a shingle so that it can be sandwiched between the vest and another pouch when needed. It will also fit other small items like flashlights and knives. Fight and Flight has included are low profile bungees for the mags when used that way.

However, it differs from other shingle designs. The PALS webbing along the front also features Velcro, so that ID patches can be affixed to it. Obviously, this increases the pouch’s versatility.
