Aescent is a company that currently has a project up on Kickstarter: ‘The World’s Most Comfortable Tent’. The ‘World’s Most Comfortable Tent’ is a 4-man domed tent with an integrated 6-inch inflatable base attached via zipper access. The inflatable base is designed using an intertwining system of tubes, which limits the ability of air to be unevenly displaced, unlike traditional air mattresses built using a bladder-like construction. The tent is also designed so that it can be used without the mattress, for such times when weight conservation is a must. The tent is still in the prototype phase, and the finalized design is planned to include the addition of internal storage pockets and high-grade aluminum tent poles.

Nanotips is a conductive polyamide liquid solution which mimics the touch of human skin. It’s designed to be applied to gloves to make them touchscreen compatible by creating a conductive bridge between the finger and the touchscreen device. It comes in two solutions: Nanotips Blue for use exclusively with fabric gloves, and Nanotips Black for leather, rubber, and other thicker material gloves. Each application can last from a few weeks to several months, dependent on how the gloves are used, and can be reapplied as needed.

The Quickcord Belt is a project currently up on Kickstarter. Made from 2″ nylon webbing, the Quickcord earns its name from a primary feature of its design: long and open-ended pockets built into the belt conceal 5.5 yards of paracord, which can be quickly drawn from the belt for use. In addition to paracord, the belt also conceals two secret pockets on the inside of the belt near the buckle. These pockets can be used to hold keys, money, survival tools, and more.

The Atlantis is an automatic dive watch totally designed and built in Sidney, IL, USA. The watch utilizes a Sea-Gull ST2130 25 jewel movement sourced directly from Seagull, and flat, double side anti-reflective Swiss sapphire crystal. The unidirectional bezel is 316 L stainless steel with Superluminova at 12 and 120 clicks. The dial is matte black with Superluminova markers, and the threaded lug pins are made of 316 L stainless steel. The band is black silicon with a 316 L stainless steel buckle.
