The M-LOK AFG is an update on the popular Angled Fore Grip which incorporates elements from both the original AFG and AFG2 in a new design that is also compatible with Magpul’s M-LOK attachment system. Manufactured from reinforced polymer material, the M-LOK AFG features a new radiused curve grip area in a streamlined, minimalist design. It is 3/4″ shorter than the AFG2 while maintaining a similar gripping surface area, and has a forward finger index similar to the original AFG. The contoured rear surface allows placing the AFG in front of an M-LOK MVG for a more versatile grip combination.

Despite reports to the contrary, the Magpul vs Brookshire Tool and Mfg Co dba ProMag Industries didn’t end in a draw. Magpul field suit against ProMag last year because the the PROMAG bore a striking resemblance to the PMAG. The case was settled late last month and the suit and countersuit dismissed in Federal Court but as with most of these settlements, everybody pays their own lawyers fees and walks away.
Except, Magpul released this statement on their blog:
MAGPUL AND PROMAG SETTLE PATENT INFRINGEMENT LAWSUIT
November 4, 2014
Magpul Industries Corp announced today that the parties have settled the patent infringement lawsuit that Magpul brought against ProMag based on ProMag’s selling and distribution of its magazines for AR15/M16 rifles and carbines. As part of the settlement, ProMag agreed to discontinue sales of the accused magazines as currently configured.
Today, Magpul Industries has announced their brand new Black Book Series. The Black Book Series is a collection of knowledge created to aid and enhance shooters experiences in the field by offering modules covering a variety of military and practical field subjects.
The two products first available in series are the Precision Rifle Quick Reference Cards and the Precision Rifle Data Book 2.0. They, along with the majority of future products under the Black Book Series, are printed on a PVC material that gives users true all-weather capability, and are sized to fit in standard uniform pockets and wrist boards. We are super excited about the possibilities the Black Book Series offers, and look forward to seeing what else Magpul will be releasing under this new label.
The Precision Rifle Data Book 2.0 is a true all-weather recording book, with a simplified density altitude-based, color-coded chart which allows shooters to record their rifles’ data across a wide spectrum of shooting conditions. Can be written on by map pens, pencils, and non-permanent markers, and is completely reusable as data can be erased with alcohol-based substances.
